It's hard to resist the whimsical designs of the Alessi product line. They're always charming and well constructed. This caught my eye because of the color as well as the design. What's most important is that it works really well as a corkscrew. The coating on the threads assures that a smooth removal. This is an item that delivers in terms of both design and function.

I love, love, love this corkscrew! Opens bottles with so little effort it was a surprise when the cork was removed. Cork came out intact too. Funky design too. A definite conversation piece.

Love how easy it is to uncork a bottle of wine, very comfy and easy. The only thing I can frown upon here is that I wish the spiral screw would be more sturdier fixed in center of the legs. Mine is a bit off, and i dig into cork off center. Other than that no regrets buying, way simpler faster and easier than cheap lever-type ones.

I love the way it pops the cork out without having to pull it out.

wow!! Opening a wine bottle is this easy? Just turning the head pulls out the cork entirely from the bottle. Highly recommended!!

This is the best corkscrew I have ever had - easy to use and almost effortless, great Italian design and my corkscrews do get a lot of hard work and it feels sturdy enough for that. Love it

Bellissimo come oggetto di design, l' ho comprato per questo e non ho ancora constatato la sua validità. Mi piacciono molto i prodotti di marca Alessi.L' omino Alessandro prende il nome dall' architetto che lo ha disegnato e in onore a sua moglie creò anche la versione femminile. Lo consiglio perché quando lo guardi ti fa simpatia. La maglietta non è rossa come può sembrare ma bordeaux.Aggiorno la mia recensione dopo averlo usato un po' di volte: funziona alla grande! Ruotando la testa il tappo si estrae da solo velocemente e senza alcuno sforzo, rimani incredulo con i miei vecchi cavatappi stavo a trafficare nel tentativo di aprire il tappo e molte volte si spezzava dentro la bottiglia facendomi innervosire non poco. Prodotto estremamente valido!
