Avoid this seller there are hidden surprises
When I bought this item it was advertised condition new there was no indication that there is no warranty with this product I did not know anything when the computer was built they were a few glitches so I decided to register the components with ausu so I can get some support all my other ausu products registered okay and warranty was displayed however this product displayed a message that there is no warranty so I contacted ausu to find out why they informed me that the retailer has purposely purchased these products without the manufacturers warranty so they can lower the cost and raise their profit margin now not only I need to purchase a new motherboard but I have to pay the technician again to deconstruct my computer and rebuild it with a new motherboard you definitely don't want this avoid this seller

Great motherboard for AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors.
At first glance this motherboard appears to be more expensive than similar ones with the same chipset but this is the only board which comes with Thunderbolt already and doesn't require an addon card which at around £110 made those equivalent boards about the same price while taking up a PCIE slot. I have paired this with a Ryzen 7 5800X and 64gb of RAM and an Intel Arc A770 and am using it primarily for video editing. Installation was simple enough though the initial boot took so long I thought there was an issue but it was just taking so long because of the memory training. I have both NVME slots filled one for Windows and Programs the other as a scratch drive while I have a raid card and video intake card populating PCIE slots (it should be noted that if you use the 3rd PCIE slot Thunderbolt and the 2nd NVME slot are disabled). It should also be noted that the Thunderbolt 4 ports (which are 40gb/s) while compatible with USB are not USB 4 and are actually USB 3.2 gen 2x2 (20gb/s) and not the 40gb/s of Thunderbolt 4 however this is not down to Asus but AMD.This board looks good but it doesn't have any RGB so if that is what you are looking for then you will need to look for an alternative. If you do not require Thunderbolt 4 then you can find cheaper or better boards

Faulty and poor after sales stick with your main suppliers
Faulty item lasted a couple months and they wanted me to return it to them to send it off to have it inspected or return it to Asus. Total joke to be honest ended up buying a new board. Puts me off using amazing anyways back to overclockers etc.

The best B550 board out there 😎
Who doesn’t like thunderbolt or USB 4? This board has loads of great features you cannot find on other similar B550 motherboards.ASUS have been my go to for motherboards since I started building PC’s 20 years back, this one like the others I own definitely doesn’t disappoint. With a 5900X CPU, 128GB RAM, 1TB 980 Samsung Pro and a RTX 3060 installed the ProArt becomes the perfect workstation for Adobe CC. If you want to overclock all the options are there in the BIOS, I would expect the results to be every bit as good as the ROG B550 boards. If you’re looking for a B550 motherboard do yourself a favour - spend a little more and grab this one. It’s the most future proof B550 board out there 😎

Excellent piece of hardware, but let down by Amazon
I bought this as an upgrade from my mATX A520 board to get more PCIe slots and an extra NVME slot. The board has an excellent featureset and the BIOS flashback function is very reassuring after having other boards end themselves during an update. The first POST took a little while and the status indicator LEDs on the front side of the board did spook me a bit, I thought it was indicating memory & CPU errors. It eventually settled down and the BIOS LED lit up, and the machine POSTed.I recommend installing the latest BIOS as soon as possible, the earlier firmware versions are somewhat glitchy, with my machine failing to boot after a restart or hanging if I had a USB drive inserted when the machine was powered on. The latest BIOS has resolved this entirely, and the UEFI interface runs at full HD resolution now.The bit I'm most upset about is that this item was bought used from Amazon, advertised to be in a good state, however the previous owner had crushed all the pins in the USB3 header on the board, it took me a good half hour to straighten those flattened pins out and get it plugged in. I don't know what kind of checks products get when they are returned to Amazon, but in this case they were not sufficient for a £208 item.

It's a good board... BUT this is why I am giving it ONE star...
Cos the ******* CMOS battery was going on it, I just figured it out after 3 days of utter frustration. If you leave the tricity on its ok, but if you turn it off (from the plug) then you get boot issues (it turns on then immediately turns off), so... lots of investigation lots of arggghhh moments... Come on Asus, you can't even put in a decent unknackered battery, the board was manufactured ONLY last year so the battery should have lasted a bit... Cost cutting at its worst....

Don’t buy it
I had it for about two months then it killed my cpu and motherboard in one go
