Sunday Afternoons Men's Charter Hat

I've had many, many hats (mostly for golf) and this one is my all-time favorite. Have had the cream color for a while and just received my second one in granite. Comfortable and looks good. One from my past is the Tilley equivalent, and the Sun Day Charter is as good, if not better, and costs considerably less. Pro tip: Buy a spray can of Hat Saver and apply it before wearing to keep the sweat stains to a minimum.

Hat is extremely well-made,Perfect for fishing, boating, hiking or any other outdoor activity where sun protection for your head is important. No other hat comes close to the comfort and quality. The internal adjustable band keeps it on your head, it will keep you cool even on the hottest days. I would highly recommend

Great hat! I bought this specifically for sailing and windsurfing. The hat stays on my head, the brim is stiff and does not flop around in heavy wind... even when wet. Great sun protection and looks good too. Perfect!

Size is adjustable. Venting is not really adequate for midwest summer heat. Appearance is great. Delivery was as promised, placed inside storm door.

I looked for a long time to find a hat for my husband while he worked on the farm. This one has been great! The wider, stiffer protects him from the sun, yet it has good ventilation. Better shape than others I've found, and it doesn't blow away in the wind. Win!

Nice styling and fabric

Let's face it; hats don't really help keep your head cool. Any layer of cloth, even mesh on your head will feel a bit warmer. This Charter hat more than compensates by shading your face and neck. I bought it for pickleball and I should have done it a long time ago. The comfort difference is incredible compared to the visor I was wearing. The visor only shaded my eyes and nothing else. The Sunday Afternoons hat reduces the direct sunlight enough that I don't always need sunglasses on the court. It's lightweight and washes easily by hand. The shape of the brim is flattering unlike those floppy hats that make you look like Gilligan. The sizing is spot on and slightly adjustable. And the chin strap is secure and stowable. To make it even sweeter, it is much less expensive than other name brands. My only minor gripe is that the mesh vents on top are obscured by thin fabric in the inside, I assume for achieving the SPF50 sun rating. If that were stitched only on one edge, it could be flipped down inside the hat opening up the mesh for better air flow. Other than that, it's a winner.

Living in the Tropics I wear a hat for sun (and some rain) protection. Finding protection and ventilation is a challenge. 3rd concern is style. This sunday's hat is perfect! Very light weight, great coverage, adjustable inside size band, comfortable sweatband, ( Inside hidden crown pocket), Comfortable adjustable chin strap, and wide floating foam core brim. Even the sunglass keeper works flawlessly. packs flat. I think it's very fashionable and the fact easy clean and Galaxy.Well, it's a bit more expensive.Even twice as much as the less expensive ADS.This is going to far out last 7.Is much more comfortable.I know because I have several of the others. I actually went ahead and bought this one because I was so disappointed with some of the others I'd received. I Give a super strong recommendation of this one. ( Full disclosure. I have another compass model. Happened from Sundays that I've had for 5 years at least and it works great, this is just a bit narrower brim and more stylish.And not quite as large as brim. But it's super super comfortable with even better ventilation)
