Moka 6 cup competition filter & gasket

It is kinda pricey… and it works. Fit, function, cleanup is headache free. I sometimes forget that i have it in there. For even better filtration (lighter feel) I sometimes put coffee filter paper (cut to fit) on the coffee, and it brews excellently - which this metal filter Can’t do. But then you do lose some richness

Slightly increases pressure and brew time, but does have a positive effect on flavor. The issue with Moka pots is the grind varies a lot with each coffee and roast. There is no how to on this, you just have to experiment. This screen is only worth it if you really notice subtle differences and are willing to play with grinds and water volumes, but I’m glad I bought it.

The media could not be loaded. The e&b competition filter in any size, particularly paired with a burr grinder, will beat second wave coffee ( S*bu** ) like a resisting suspect.The one cup in any cafetera or moka from Imusa to Bialetti allows the same grind size that my 40mm stepped basket Flair uses.The single shot produces an 8 ounce latte that beats specialty priced shots.In summary, an approachable PRIMULA, IMUSA, Bialetti, or any other standard size 1,3,or 6 cup moka style pot you need an E&B labs competition filter.In the 6 cup using light roast was the hardest brew for me to learn. This filter makes the cup much brighter, full bodied and clean.

Very well thought out design that creates a much better and richer extraction from my 6 cup Moka pot. Some prefer using an AeroPress filter but this filter does the job better in my opinion.

Stainless steel causes aluminum to corrode

High quality material gasket does a beautiful job! However, the silicone ring is a bit smaller for my 6 cups Moka Pot (Debut Stella), make it very difficult to use. The reason I only gave 4 stars.
