One Piece, Vol. 9

This ninth volume of the brilliant `One Piece' manga continues the trend of the series getting better with each passing volume. This volume finally reveals what kind of past the thief Nami has had and what she is prepared to do to make her dream come true.This is another brilliant volume and one that is somewhat darker than those that have gone before with murder, betrayal and the like perpetrated by various characters. The humour of the series isn't gone entirely though and some of the early chapters of the volume have some very funny moments as well. This is also quite a sad volume and the volume title of `Tears' is aptly chosen as there is more than one moment in the book that should bring a tear to your eye.This is a very good volume of `One Piece' and it gives a good illustration of why this is one of my favourite manga series.

Great read as usual this vol has Nami’s flashback/origin story and the lead up to the battle with Arlong

One Piece ist für mich der beste Manga, ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Die englische Übersetzung finde ich bei allen Mangas deutlich besser und angenehmer zu lesen.

Qué decir de esta maravilla? Fuera de lo que ya sabemos todos respecto al servicio de Amazon, el libro en si es espectacular. Para los que, como yo, amaron el capítulo de Nami del anime, esto es una compra obligatoria, ya que, aunque lo hayáis visto, reviviréis aquellos momentos de una forma nueva y más completa
