Just trust me
Legitimately the best clip-on tuner I have ever used. I have had 2 or 3 Snarks, and my last one was the KLIQ UberTuner (please stay far, far away from that piece of junk). As most people who've used these things know - the first point of failure is always the hinge. I don't care which brand, after enough rotating through normal use, the pivot joint WILL wear down and leave you with a "limp noodle".This little thing solves that problem, and then some. It's about as minimalist and unobtrusive as you could get without having something built into the body of your instrument. You just put it in place and give it a squeeze until it fastens snugly to the headstock, then it's able to rotate along its x-axis so you can adjust it for readability. Really, really great design, and I much prefer not having something sticking out off the end of my guitarThe LCD screen is bright and incredibly easy to read, especially considering how small it actually is. Another great feature is the ability to change the orientation of the display with the push of a button, so you're not reading upside-down or sideways. As far as doing it's actual job - it's great! Super responsive (which is a must), and it doesn't "jump around" like some other tuners tend to sometimes do. For me, this thing was definitely worth the few extra bucks over yet another Snark.

Micro and Accurate... With Some Considerations
Over the past I have purchased numerous D'Addario products from stings to accessories and recently lost one of my favorite head stock tuners at a studio session, so I thought I would try something smaller that I can keep on the head stock and not misplace it. Some key points to consider:- It is indeed "Micro" and about the size of a penny.- It is accurate and easy to read. Battery life is god and shuts off automatically so you will increase the life of the battery.- The adjustable grip will accommodate any guitar and, although plastic, it does lock into place securely.Overall a good choice for an inexpensive tuner that gets the job done and keeps you in tune.

D'Addario built a better mousetrap!
I used a "round shaped" tuner for many years and they're great... but this one's better! The D'Addario "micro" is barely noticeable when you clip it on the back of your headstock. It's super bright and when your note displays solid green bars on each side you're spot on. Messing with batteries is history because it charges with a simple USB c cable - included!

Works perfectly on back of strat headstock. Very small display. Remembers display orientation.
The whole point of this tuner is that it's VERY small. Because of that, the display is small. I can see it while standing, but it's a strain, mostly though because of my age (get off my lawn!).It shows sharps but not flats. The sharp is kindof a tiny square; it's VERY hard for me personally to see.You click the orientation button to rotate the display for however you have it mounted to your headstock, font back side top. After that when you turn it off & on it does remember the last orientation.Since you can rotate it, im pretty sure you'd have easy battery access no matter how you installed it, on elec or acoustic.Just like the videos i've seen, you press it on and it really doesn't seem like it would be easy to come off even when you jump around. I pushed on it with my hand just to see. I think if you were young and jumped around like a nut (lol) you could probably just put rubber tape/strip where it mounts and you'd be good to go.Based on reviews i know that it's *accurate enough*. I'm using this for rehearsal only; when i play out i use a foot pedal tuner, because i'm an adult (and i switch guitars alot).I really wanted a rechargeable clip on tuner, but this one was so small i thought i'd try it. I DO like it more than others i've used.

Almost tossed it for tuning to my box fan lol.
Had it for a month or two and noticed it started tuning flat, figured oh well got a couple months but cheap junk like everything else. Before I tossed it in a box I played with it a bit while checking other tuners. Along the way I turned off the fan to hear better and it suddenly turned correctly. It was also picking up the hum, So pretty sensitive. I like it.
