NKJV, Large Print Verse-by-Verse Reference Bible, Maclaren Series, Leathersoft, Brown, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version

Bought this Bible for muy husband for his 50th birthday. He loves it! It's cover is gorgeous. Soft and smooth. The pages are nice and white and the text is easy to read. I love how it isn't huge and it's a nice size to carry to church as well as men's meetings. The only thing he wishes was different...Red lettering for the words of Jesus. He was looking for a Bible that had ALL this one does plus the red lettering. This is the only thing missing but he is willing to forgo it because it is such a great book.

If you prefer the NKJV as I do, I would recommend the MacClaren Large print NKJV Bible. The cover design is reminiscent of an 'heirloom' Bible (in my opinion), and the blue, verse by verse, formatting is pleasing to the eye. This is not to mention the easy-to-read typeface.This is a "large print", but 'large' is 10.5 font which, for some, will require reading glasses despite the adjective of "large print'. But, that being said, I highly recommend this reference Bible.

The genuine leather cover feels premium, and the large Comfort Print makes reading scripture so much easier. The verse-by-verse layout is perfect for study, and the NKJV translation is clear and faithful. A wonderful Bible for personal devotion and study!

In my opinion, this particular Bible with 10.5 font size is easier on my eyes to read than Bibles with larger print. Also, the verse-by-verse format (having each verse start on its own line) somehow makes it easier on the eyes. That plus the paper quality is fantastic. Moreover, the lovely blue heading and verse numbers are enjoyable. I own a Schuyler Quentel, which costs about 4 times as much as this Bible does. But I still prefer the large print Maclaren Series Bible to the Schuyler Quentel (which is also a great Bible).Do yourself a favor and get the NKJV, Large Print, Maclaren Series Bible. To me, it is the best thing on the market. I'm confident you won't be disappointed.

On top of it being easy to read it is very soft and feels good to hold

I love this Bible, the leather is nice, it's just what I was wanting, but after I had already started highlighting scriptures I came to the New Testament and saw there are no red letters! Very disappointing. I love having Jesus's words in red letters. It actually really bothers me, but I can't return it now, so I'm gonna have to deal. Other than that the Bible is very nice.

The quality of the Bible and the fact that it was delivered earlier than expected. Packaging protected the contents and it was it the product box.
