Keratin Blowout Kit

I've been getting Brazilian blowouts pretty consistently for 12 years, in different states by different stylist. Its just a part of my routine. That being said I'm VERY familiar with the process and I've said to myself in the past "I could do this without any training. " I won't go back to a salon now that I know I can do it for a fraction of the cost and the results turned out great better than some I've paid $300 for. It took me 3 hours, that's normal. The fumes burned my eyes (also happens in the salon, I wore my onion goggles). Gloves to protect my fingers from the heat would've helped. I might feel differently if I wasn't familiar with it and if I didn't know how long it takes etc. Or if I had very thick, corse or extremely long hair.

I've been getting BB done for years. I can guess that I have had at least 30 over the past 10 years. With the cost of the original BB going up I gave this a try. As I'm not a professional I did the treatment myself. It probably took me about 2 hours between the wash, application, blow dry, flat iron and wash & style. My hair was not frizzy and smooth. It's been about 3 months since I did the treatment and I just ordered another kits. I felt that it held up keeping my hair smooth & fizz free.

I bought this to try since the price was unbeatable. I was able to use half the product and the hair came out nice and frizz free. I followed the instructions and watched the video in YouTube. I have done other keratin at home in the past with higher cost in which you don’t have to wash out so the start to finish processing time is shorter. However, this product has an extra step from others I’ve done thus taking waaayyy longer to complete. Specially if you have long hair like me.Steps:1) Wash with clarifying shampoo 2-3 times2) Towel dry hair and put keratin treatment on evenly damp hair3) Blow completely dry with COLD air and brush for a smoothed finish. (Longest step since it takes a while to dry and smooth with product on4) Flat iron5) Wash hair with step 3 bottle (mask)6) Style as usual. (Which for me means to blow dry long hair again 😩)The product does smooth frizz out. I am still able to keep my hair dry naturally with wavy non frizzy hair. The issue I have is the long processing time now at double the price from when I bought it. First time I paid $27.99 now it’s almost double 😬. I would rather pay for another brand that takes less time and achieve same results as like keratin complex express blowout.I would do it again if I had shorter hair or if the price went back to the first time I bought it of $27.99

I have used this kit 3 times. I can usually get 2 treatments out of kit. It's a good product and takes the frizz away. I have natural wavy/curly hair just below shoulder blades. It takes me about 2 hours to do my hair. I am not a professional. This product feels like professional grade and last about 9-12 week, depends on how often I wash my hair.

I have been getting Brazilian blowouts for years and it was getting very expensive, I have very natural curly hair and I love to have short choppy cuts, this product did wonderful, maybe even better than the salon, I will only be using this for now on!! Definitely a win!!

I'd you follow directions it will work 100% 2 time to use same results.

I bought this through Groupon after trying others on Amazon. This was such a waste of hours and more money than better products I've used, WARNING! What it did NOT do was take care of the frizz, as it is advertised to do. Other, cheaper, products do a much better job, and with fewer eye-watering fumes.
