PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is a signal contained within the 4th wire of the fan that enables speed control when connected to a device with that type of functionality. This might be the motherboard of a computer or a separate PWM speed-control device. Q: Going to use this fan to cool a speed controller in a 12v source. How do i wire it for full speed all the time with just 12v power and ground?

Green is the tachometer and blue is speed control. For your use case, those won't be used. Instead, wire ground to black and yellow to 12v and it will run full speed continously.
