Flea treatment
Excellent product that I've used for years on my animals. I will not use any other.Flea control is fantastic, even in the summers when the fleas have been rampant from woodland walks and dog meets, cats wandering miles and mixing with all sorts, within a week fleas are well and truly under control and easy to stay on top of.2 sized packs depending on how much you can afford and how often you treat your animal.Do weigh the animal and ensure you use the correct dose.I can't smell much tbh when I open the vials but to the animal super sensitive nose they smell it before it's even open! It's clearly a potent smell to them. The dogs never fussed but my cat tries to run immediately so I do have to keep a firm hold.Easy to apply, one quick squeeze once you part the animals fur on the neck. Ensure they can't reach the area when licking and cleaning. Don't let children stroke the animal once applied and for the next day at least. It soaks in easily after a day so all is safe from then I'd say.I use this every other month normally as i find the longevityis good, monthly in times when fleas are rife as safer and easier for animals and for me to stay on top of fleas cycles.Size of vials is perfect for one handled applications.

Not 100% effective but helps a lot
I always worry when buying this sort of thing from Amazon, just in case its counterfeit. This came in proper packaging with the official seal so all is good.I dont think its quite has effective has it used to be, maybe the fleas are gaining immunity to it, but it still helps a lot in keeping the numbers down.Recommended

100% worth the cost over "pet shop brands"
For the last few months, our cats have had reoccurring flea problems, which have also led to vet visits for hairballs and other digestive issues. We vacuumed frequently and tried other, inferior products (Bob Martin and Pride&Groom) which would make a temporary difference, but the problem kept returning.Eventually, after some light research, I opted to try this Frontline Plus as it advertises killing eggs as well as living fleas. I was skeptical at first as I've used products with the same active ingredient, but surprisingly, the cats seemed visibly more at ease within a few hours of applying this. After a few weeks, their fur is back to normal and they seem happy as ever. I did order some flea bombs at the same time, but I was satisfied enough that I didn't feel the need to use them. This product is also great value for money - not only are there 6 pipettes in each pack, but they work for all cats over 1kg. So unlike other brands, there's no need to buy 2 different packs if your cats are different sizes.

Does not work, save yourself the trouble
This was our first time treating our cat for fleas - we noticed she had them so went straight to find a product to do the job. We went off the recommendation of my partners family that use this product on their cat and they said it works for them. The use of the product was easy enough, instructions are relatively clear and not too much confusion which is always nice. We treated our cat in the evening and that seemed to be it pretty simple.I had thought that her symptoms seemed to improve, I was under the impression that we were seeing less flee dirt around so assumed it worked. I had already decided I was going to give her a bath once she was clear to do so as the product recommended you do not bath them for 2 days.It was about a week later and I gave her a bath and once we finished and I was drying her I noticed a flea on her neck which I wasn’t sure was dead or not. I got it out and realised it was alive, and when I picked her up to dry her back legs I saw she was teeming with fleas still!I had a look around and got the impression that I must have not applied it properly as she is a long haired cat it may have not gotten on her skin enough. So I figured I’d have to follow the instructions and wait for 3 more weeks till I could re-apply.We went about a week and it just got ridiculous she was so uncomfortable and was constantly grooming and we were getting flea dirt and eggs all over the place so I decided to call up the vets and get her an appointment. After speaking to the vets they informed me that this product simply does not work on modern fleas! The formulas that pet shop and retail products can use is around 30 years old now and is essentially entirely ineffective on fleas that have developed a resistance to the formula. Where once upon a time I’m sure this product was brilliant, unfortunately it no longer does the trick.I really was not impressed when finding this out, having spent extra on the “Frontline Plus” to find out that it doesn’t even do the basic requirement is very underwhelming and frustrating. It is not fair on pet owners or pets to market this as a valid product and seemingly more high end than others available only for it to not work and cause prolonged unnecessary discomfort for the animals.Since first using this we have also found out that my partner’s family who made the initial recommendation is now also having issues with their cat and dog regarding fleas and have also had to go to the vet for the same thing so it seems it is not a stand alone issue.A very disappointing outcome in our experience.

Not Enough for Flea Infestations
I gave my cat FRONTLINE Spot On as a preventative treatment since he’s an outdoor cat who roams fields and can pick up fleas. However, he still picked up fleas. We had to resort to prescription-strength tablets to fully solve the issue, but we’ve since gone back to using what was left of the FRONTLINE Spot On as a preventative, and he hasn’t had any more flea issues.I do appreciate that it’s quick and easy to apply, and my cat has gotten used to the process with no fuss. He hasn’t had any reactions to it, which is great. If fleas become a recurring issue, this product might not be enough, and I’d need to consider stronger treatments.
