A friend had recommended this product, but I was leery because I’d tried something similar in the past that I didn’t feel lived up to its hype. I’ve had gel manicures for decades because I felt the gel made my nails stronger so they could grow, but last summer my nail tech told me to take a break and get my nails in good condition before going back to gel polish. It’s been so freeing not having to set up nail appointments every couple of weeks, and my cuticles have even done better. At first, my nails were thin and soft, but eventually they began to get a bit of strength back. However, they were peeling and tearing. I decided to try my friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did! I put it on only once a week; in the beginning this product is all I put on my nails, but now I sometimes put polish over it. In about two weeks my nails were stronger and healthier - there’s been no more peeling, tearing, or breaking! Last week I actually had to use clippers and a file to take them down a bit because they’d gotten so long, and I’ve never had to do that before!! I may go back to the nail salon occasionally just to get the hand massage as a treat, but my nails are healthier than they’ve ever been and I can now do them myself!

Excellent for growing nail

This really works. I wish it would stay on more than a day though. I've tried one coat and multiple coats but each time it peels off in about 24 hours. If I put a coat on daily it works great. But I am concerned about it containing formaldehyde. And it does burn a bit which is another concern. I don't polish my nails nor do I have acrylics so that's not what would cause a burning sensation.

I love this product. It has helped my nails grow faster than they typically would because they're healthier (more protected). The nails are stronger and do not break as easily. The product leaves a lovely sheen over the nails so I usually just wear my natural nails (hands) with a layer of this product over them. For my toes, I apply polish over the product once fully dried and it works fine - no issues.Other reviews mention a burning sensation. I have not experienced this. I clean the nails very well before application, then wait until completely dry. If any gets on my skin, I clean it off immediately.Drying time is relatively short and after a short bit, you're able to use your hands/feet normally.My job requires my hands/feet to be very involved. I don't have issues with the product chipping off easily.Overall, very pleased with this product and will continue to purchase once these two bottles are used up.

Bought this on recommendation from a friend. The product seems to work, but caused medical nail issues for me. The nail hardener burns sometimes hours after applying, despite carefully applying and avoiding cuticles and skin. This only happened intermittently. When I removed it a week ago, some of my nails were red, then developed purple and red marks which worsened and became very painful. Sleeping at night was difficult because fingertips were throbbing. Saw my dermatologist who said I had blood and bruising underneath the nails which is a reaction and to never use this product again. She said this is very painful and pointed out white area on one nail where nail is separating from nail bed from the damage. This can lead to several types of infections and I was prescribed a topical antibiotic and told to avoid having my hands in water. The hardener contains several problematic ingredients (look them up!) Formaldehyde, for one, is carcinogenic! Please, do your homework before ordering or using such products. FYI, I haven’t used gel, acrylic, etc. in years, so not a contributing factor.

Its definitely stronger then others I have tried. Hoping it'll do the job .
