I felt compelled to share my positive experience with the product because I know how frustrating it can be to face issues with sudden thinning and breaking hair. I dealt with this for the first time in my life and it was very frustrating. I tried a number of topical hair products but did not experience noticeable results.After researching different options on treating this issue from the inside out, I purchased Natrol Beauty Biotin Plus. It had the combination of ingredients and the dosages that seemed appropriate for me. I'm on my third bottle, and can wholeheartedly say......it worked for me! It didn't happen overnight, but my hair is finally thicker and healthier. I'm so grateful that I found Natrol Beauty Biotin Plus!

My mother has been taking these biotin with lutein supplements for so many years now, she can't tell if they work or not, but she doesn't plan to stop taking them, just in case. She says her nails grow faster than she can keep up with trimming/filing them, and they're fairly strong. As for battling thinning hair, these tablets may not be the best way to combat age-related thinning. My mother used to have super-thick, very heavy hair, but it has become much, much thinner in her late 60s. She can't even wear it down anymore, as it has so little weight, she says it just floats around her head. But without taking these tablets, she thinks it's possible it could be worse. However, as she's been taking these since her late 40s, it's difficult to tell if they've been helpful with regard to aging hair loss. But her hair does grow very fast, and like her nails, she says trimming has to be done more often. So it seems that for nail and hair strength and length, these tablets may be a contributing factor, but are probably not the best or only remedy one should rely on to combat age-related hair thinning.The tablets are small, but as other reviewers have commented, they used to be difficult to swallow because they had a tendency get stuck at the back of the tongue and didn't go down easily due to a somewhat rough surface. But maybe the manufacturer got the memo, because my mother says her more recent purchases don't have that problem -- she says the tablets are now smoother or may have a light coating that allows then to slide down easily. She also says the tablets have no taste/aftertaste and in all the years she's been taking them, no negative side effects.To sum up, these biotin supplements may help with hair and nail strength and length, but maybe not with new growth when it comes to age-related hair thinning. The lutein is a plus, as it's good for the eyes, and supposedly helps with hair thinning. As for skin, my mother always had smooth and radiant skin, but not so much anymore. She's trying to come to terms with the recent appearance of crepey skin texture and loss of elasticity, and says you can only do so much before you have to give up the fight and give in gracefully. But as she keeps having me reorder these biotin supplements for her, she clearly hasn't given up the battle just yet, and they may well be helping to keep the worst at bay for now.

They're slim tablets and easy to swallow. They make my skin softer and brighter. They make my hair softer and stronger.

I like taking these my hair was falling out because I over processed it and my hair was growing back within 2 weeks when my hair was wet I could see all the new hair standing. Great product .

A great combination of biotin and lutein. Both are known to be deficient in prematurely aging people and people who are following a restricted diet (low calorie, low carb etc.) Biotin is known to suppress seborrhea (excessive skin oil production) and lutein is very helpful in reducing UV (sun) damage. As for the shape of the pill, to me it is actually easier to take it due to it being longer and narrower. The price/value ratio is also excellent.I have not received anything from Natrol or any other company for this review.

This Biotin Plus works well for my nails and has strengthened them considerably. I break them in half becaise they are otherwise difficult to swallow. I have not yet noticed and improvement in my hair condition but will update when and if I do.
