I purchased this based on an expectation that the composition would be high in Meadowfoam Seed Oil, which is good for sealing in moisture, and scalp-friendly extracts. I obtained a label of ingredients from another seller's website of "Soybean oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Shea Butter Extract, Lecithin, Rosemary extract,..." Instead, the label of ingredients on the item I received today is "Soybean oil, Olive oil, Corn oil, Safflower Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil...." This has other ingredients that are also good for scalp health such as sulfur and yarrow. The key extracts are logically low in content based on the ingredient list - so who knows what the outcome will be? (I will provide an update when I use it. I have ordered more of a scalp serum that I just started using. Yes, it does contain oils, is chock full of scalp-friendly ingredients, and there's no worry about greasiness! My plans are to use both a scalp oil and scalp serum that contain complementary ingredients.)
