I have been taking this Milk Thistle extract for about 2 years now. I started taking it because my annual blood work showed my liver was close to the fatty liver levels. I saw a commercial on TV for something that aided the liver so I asked my doctor if a supplement could do that. He said milk thistle has been shown to help the liver remove toxins. I them when on Amazon and found this brand and I've been using it ever since. I have my blood work done every year and I've heard nothing more about my liver.

I have been giving my mom milk thistle for years as she has liver disease from Hep C. This is the second time buying this brand and I like the fact that she only has to take one per day to get a good dose. Most other brands you need to take up to 3 x per day and that's hard when elderly people have so many other medications to take. So the value is good when you break it down. Many times you see cheaper brands but then you have to take many more per day to get the same dosage which ends up costing more in the end.

I’ve been taking these for a few years now for general health, without any problems. Not sure if it’s actually doing anything, but I figured it couldn’t hurt.Well, I was just started some new prescriptions and continued to take this and started having several VERY concerning side effects, including chest pain and consistent rapid/irregular/pounding/fluttering heart rate. I bought this for my dogs. They are both on long term pain meds for arthritis pain. My vet and I discussed how beneficial this would be for their liver to help keep it from being damaged. I open the capsules and sprinkle a little on the canned food they take their meds in. I use a liquid vitamin made for dogs to keep it creamy and they love it! The vet and I also talked about how beneficial this supplement would be for people who are being treated for chronic pain with meds and that it would do the same for them that it is doing for the dogs! The Lord has given me much knowledge about taking care of my dogs and cats as well as myself. I was buying an expensive natural supplement just for dogs and God pointed out to me that the supplement is the same just not in liquid form. Natural is the Lord God's creation...He knows all about everything He has created....including people, dogs, cats and milk thistle! All HIS!

I have been buying this product for 18-20 years and it works great. It is very gentle and is not harsh like other laxatives. It worked the first day after I used it. I rarely need it anymore but always have it on hand for those occasional times that I need to take it. It is hard to find as it can only be purchased in stores that sell health products and food. I was thrilled to find it at Amazon. The price is cheaper than buying it in retail stores.

My order arrived on time and well packaged. This is something I take every day and it is nice to know that it is available and arrives on time.

I’m waiting my annual blood test before I give rating I do know that milk thistle works because I have been taking it for over two years and my test have been improving , I have only took one bottle of this brand. The reason I take it is I have to max out the meds for back pain
