Excellent Monopod
I love this monopod. I use it with Canon EOS 5D mark III fitted with 100-400 lens or 70-200 lens. I have used it on EOS 1DX as well.

Expensive, but worth it
Gitzo is known for their high dollar cost. But I've found the quality and workmanship is well worth it. This monopod is a traveler's dream. It hardly takes any room in your bag, but offers a sturdy support for your camera. Another use is that it can be a walking stick. I have some mobility problems and this monopod is useful in helping me balance when I walk. Worth every penny!

when I received the monopod and tried to extend it ...
when I received the monopod and tried to extend it by loosen the release ring, the 1st and 2nd portion of the monopod just easier departed apart. I just wonder if this is a defeat or used product!
