I use to carry a different window punch that was the size of a pen. Of course you always worried about some prisoner you’re transporting to county grabbing it and using it as a weapon. Then I heard Donut Operator talk about this one, on one of his YouTube videos. I have to say this is one of the best pieces of equipment I’ve ever bought. It’s small, lightweight, and fits on my duty belt without getting in the way of any of my other gear.

I hope I don' have to use it but it is cost effective and may be a live saver. The window if had to be broken the cost to repair will be looked at after, maybe the insurance company will cover cost. I think depends on the circumstance.

Bought this to replace the first generation large hammer style that I bought years ago. It's been on my key chain getting bumped and banged around every day without any issues. Lightweight, solid molded plastic, feels sturdy. The window break triggers with a lot of force and the blade is nestled perfectly out of the way until needed. I didn't give 5 stars only because it has not been tested in a real emergency scenario. Let's hope I never have to.....

Easy to remove and use

Can't remove the part that covers the blade. Too hard. Not good if I'm in a desperate situation.
