Q: Does this shampoo wash off a topical flea and tick application?

Sentry is one of the most potent shampoos available. Remember to avoid the eyes, work up a thick, rich lather, around 15 minutes before first rinse. Dead fleas will rinse out easily, some of the dead ticks may have to be removed gently with tweezers. Also very wise to follow up with a medication like Comfortis.

Q: Does this product kill flea eggs?

I find the scent pleasant. I live in Hawaii & enjoy tropical scents. My dog, Honey Girl, is sensitive to both oral & dermal flea medications. This is one of the few shampoos that us both effective & non-reactive.

Q: Is the smell fragrant? Does it last awhile? My issue w/other shampoos is that she will smell good for a day or 2 & then right back to the "dog" smell

The smell doesn’t last days no. And for the guy who asked if her shampoo lasted days well ummm yes it does. I shampoo and condition my hair and 3 days later it’s still smells wonderful. When my psoriasis is broke out on my scalp I can only wash once every 6-7 days and on that 6th day yup my hair still smells great. U can’t compare flea shampoo with shampoo a human uses. Lmao. The hair is no where near the same and the oils from a dogs skin has a smell to it. But if it’s a long hair dog yes the smell will actually last days. But I have a pit and by the end of the second day I can no longer really smell a scent.

Q: Can I use a flea powder product after using this?

You don't need to use anything more to prevent fleas & ticks. This is effective for 10-14 days.
