TWIST Big, Rich & Dreamy Ultra-hydrating Cowash, 16 fl oz

I love all the products from TWIST, they work great for my fine curls and I love that they’re also humidity proof as I live in a year round subtropical region with humidity levels always between 50-99%. This cowash is very decently sized and has a lot of product especially for how cheap it is. A lot of people were complaining about the pump & packaging, but honestly I have no problems, pump works great for me.

Love this product!!! Great moisture and great cleanser in one! Cowashes/cleansing conditioners usually do one or the other, but this does both for me. It doesn't weigh my hair down. I have frizzy, somewhat thin 3c / 4a hair. Terrific slip. I use this when I'm wearing my hair curly or straight. It's really thick and hard to get the pump on the bottle started. It doesn't take a lot of this to do the job. As far as build up, I haven't had a problem with that....but then haven't been using it long. Trying thier 4 in 1 now.

I have naturally wavy hair and normally use a co-wash rather than regular shampoo, which strips and dries my already dry hair. I love this product for cleansing while maintaining moisture and promoting curl rather than frizz. One problem: this product is extremely thick and is nearly impossible to squeeze out of the packaging. You have to pound the bottle to get product to drop down to the opening then squeeze with both hands to get it to come out. This product is the consistency of Crisco and is not appropriate for fine or oily hair.

Let me tell you yes they do. It is crazy but it works. I didn't believe it but I thought I would try it and it was because I liked what was in it and I also bought another conditioner to go along with it. I first started by putting it in my hair and then I would add conditioner and I quickly learned that I didn't need it. Only time I ever need to do that is if I have been riding horses, or dirt bikes something like that to get my hair stupid out here and the desert. My hair is red it is long past my butt and it is thick and curly and this is something I never want to ever live without. I promise you! This has made my life so much better and my hair so much more manageable because it looks beautiful. It feels beautiful and it doesn't take forever to condition it. Washing it isn't the problem conditioning it always was. Now I can do it at the same time. It's amazing!

This bottle does not come with a pump top. The co wash will NOT come out of the top I got with mine. I take the top off and still have to fight with the product to get it out, you really need 3 hands to get the product out. It is just so thick it needs to be put in a squeeze bottle like the conditioner/primer. After struggling to get the product out, it's so thick it takes quite a bit for my long natural curly hair. I used the co wash with the conditioner/primer and my hair ends up dry, frizzy and like a birds nest, unable to comb through it easily. I have used it 3 times to try and give it a chance but I do not like the results and will not use it anymore.

Imagine finally getting a product that seems perfect for your hair only to NOT be able to use it because you can’t get it out of the bottle? This is the product! I’m hoping to find some vice grips that are waterproof in hopes I can easily get the product out of the bottle. After putting the bottle on the shower floor and squeezing it with my foot, I was able to get some out off the bottle. It was an awesome product but I wouldn’t bother. The struggle is not worth the reward.

As other reviewers stated, the dispenser on this product does not work well. They really need to redesign it. The cowash is super thick, and I can get mine to pump out, but it takes a while and a lot of effort. The formula though is GREAT. Super hydrating & makes my hair feel clean after I use it. The slip is fantastic. If they would redesign the packaging it’d be perfect, ha.

so far liking product makes my chemo curls soft and cute and manageble
