I have 3 English Mastiffs and I purchased this toy hoping that it would be another toy that would be durable enough for outside play for my boys. All 1 can say is that they loved it so much I bought a second one. My 2 youngest 4yrs old (191 pounds) and my 11 month old (197 pounds) tend to go through toys fast and this one has held up to almost 400 pounds of dog tugging at it every chance they get. I actually have to put the tug toy in the tree after they are done playing because that’s the first thing they go for when let outside. Thank you for making a durable toy. And an added bonus if you send pics of your dogs playing with it they send you a free toy. Which usually free toys aren’t that great. This free toy is a bungee rope with 3 interchangeable rings that is really nice!

Bruno is a beligian malinios/shepherd mix and is 18months old so he is full of energy! He loves this toy. He spent all afternoon playing and jumping, tugging on it! He is one tired pup and highly recommends this toy

This is the first thing Shiva looks for when he is let outside. He loves playing tug of war with it. Simple to set up and the length of the toy can be adjusted easily. After about 4 days he did manage to break the provided rope toy, however it is super easy to replace the toy so it isn’t a big deal.

I got this thinking it would be durable enough for our 9 month old Shepadoodle. Nope. We got it set up and we’re SO EXCITED to see that he LOVED IT INSTANTLY! And then he chewed right through the rope :(I managed to tie it back together but my hope that this could be a relatively unsupervised toy had been destroyed :(Unless this was a defect (I’ll contact the seller and update this review as appropriate), I cannot recommend this product for large puppies. So sad, I really really REALLY wanted this to work.

I’d give 5 stars for it being her favorite toy and 2 stars for durability/price , it’s way too expensive to be replacing every month or 2 when it breaks.2.5 month update: still by far her favorite toy in the backyard BUT she has chewed off the part that holds toys and probably even more. She has to jump to grab the strap. We still put it out of reach sometimes and she barks at it until we get it for her. I’m not sure how great this is for her jaw and that’s the only thing holding us back from buying another. That, and it’s a $30 toy that didn’t even last 2 months.5.5 week update: she finally chewed the rope in half. There’s still about a foot of it hanging down so she kinda plays with it still. Would not recommend for heavy chewers who have unlimited access to the toy.3 week update: we limit this toy with our pit bull because she plays and pulls so hard we are afraid of her hurting her jaw. She’s stubborn and will stretch it all the way out and just sit there, when finally lets going her jaw is shaking. She does LOVE this toy though! We have it close to the fence so we just rest it on top when she’s done playing. She has managed to get to the yellow reflective strips and chew them off.Original review: My 5 month old pup loves this toy! We like to sit in our swings while she plays. Before this toy she kept trying to attack our swings. This toy keeps her pretty busy! We have it hanging just above her eye level which seems like a good height to keep her from just being able to lounge and chew. She has to work pretty hard to hold it down to chew on it. Overall very happy with this toy so far!
