OWC Aura drive is plug and play, easy to install.The external enclosure is extremely well machined, and is so pleasant to the touch.everything worked just fine, no issues.the only small downside is that the original apple drive is a little hard to fit into the enclosure, and the support post is a little too far, i used plastic washers to hold it down.but overall 10/10 would buy again.

The product arrived really quickly. Installation was easy as all necessary tools are provided. SSD works like a charm, finally my old Mac hosts macOS, Win10 and Ubuntu - and there is plenty space for data too. The nicest surprise was the quality of the caddy - the new home for my old SSD. Precise, elegant, works fast. It was immediatelly very useful when installing other OSes.Very happy about this purchase.

Works perfectly and easy install

After replacing the drive, I got a problem trying to connect to Apple through INTERNET RECOVERY MODE.After connecting to my router, nothing.But after 20-30 minutes, Error -2002FCause: something with my router.SOLUTION: bypass the router and use an ethernet patch cord directly into the cable-modem: the connexion with Apple was instant and the download started.
