Replacement WORLD STAR Battery for Mifi 8800L Verizon Jetpack WiFi Hotspot with Replacement Backdoor. 2 Year Limited Warranty

I’ve repurchased this same battery multiple times. I literally have to keep a tiny desk fan directed at the Mifi unit to keep it from overheating. I assume it’s the MiFi unit itself that’s damaging the batteries and not Vice versa. Good thing they’re not super expensive because I buy replacements every year

My Mifi 8800 ran over 4yrs on factory batt. Its "only" problem was swelling. (a now-known lithium batt problem). I replaced it with this battery so as to use the provided "back door". The door was NOT required because no distortion was evident in the original. However this replacement battery has proven problematic due to overheating on occasion (est 2/mo). The unit totally shuts down and when cooler comes back on line. This NEVER happened with the original batt.Be cautious, create a cooling environment, or try another maker. Finally, guard against an actual fire from the darn thing.

Arrived dead on arrival…charged to 50% then died… will not charge …. Don’t waist your time or money on this
