Works pretty well but not sure it's the suction that keeps it on there
I've used this twice now for grooming and for a bath. I like that it comes with a little cover for the suction cup when. you're not using it, but I have to say I'm not sure if the suction cup stays on because of the locking mechanism or because the cover is needed since the suction cup itself is so sticky. It seems like the kind of sticky stuff you use on car dashes where you can rinse it with water if it gets non-sticky and that renews it. It definitely helps keep the suction cup on the side of the tub - I had to use a butter knife to pry it off. The length of the cable seems perfect for small dogs. I don't think it would work well for big dogs. Comes with a nice pouch to keep it all together when you're not using it.

It held my 135 pound dog who doesn’t like baths! Highly recommend! I also don’t know if I remove it from the shower tub if it will lose its “stickiness” so it now lives in the shower ! Also the suction cup was a lot smaller than I expected but did the job great!

Works great! Made bathing my dog less stressful for both of us.
This product works great! It keeps my 22 lb. dog in place while bathe her. The suction is very strong. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I can’t release the suction cup. I know several other buyers are having the same problem.

Does not work
This stuck to surface for a hot second but will not stay when dogs attached. Waste of my money!

Holds well
It made washing my dog so much easier. It sticks firmly to the tile and holds him in place.

IT STAYS!!
To be honest, I doubted the suction-ability of this product BUT based on the reviews, I decided to take a stab at it and I do not regret it. IT STAYS! The unit feels sturdy and well made and it does the job!I think the description said I can adjust the length but since no instructions were provided, I am yet to fgure that out. What I was able to do was adjust the circumference around my dog's neck but I would love to make the length shorter so she wont be able to run around as much.Huge turnoff: no instructions!This is supposed to be a unit that you can remove when not in use and reinstall when you need it BUT I am not sure how to remove it and still maintain the stickiness. So I will leave it in place for now, although its not aesthetically pleasing for me.

Victory during bath time! Mostly
I put off buying this because I kept thinking “Do I really need ANOTHER thing for the dogs? Can’t I just train them more and suck it up until they’re better at baths?” Uh no, I can’t. So I bought it. Then regretted all the time I put it off.I finally won. They stayed in the tub and went from smelling like poo to smelling like fresh puppies. They could still get their front legs on the edge, which was annoying and got water everywhere, but that’s either due to user error or having a narrow tub.This thing is easy to slap onto the tile and lock. Comes off fairly easy too, but a couple tugs so that’s good. The suction cup thing is sticky though, which makes me worry it will become less effective over time. Gentle washing might help?Anyway, I’ve only used it once so will update my review after more baths to report how it holds up.

Bath tested
Used it several times now and it works very well. The suction cup is amazingly strong with little chance of it pulling off the tile wall where I use it. It's paid for itself in avoided groomer trips.
