Well built self defense knife.
It's larger than it looks. Knife holds an edge nicely. Quality full tang construction. Kydex sheath holds up nicely and the 1 3/4" belt loop can be switched for right or left hand carry. It's sharp and easy to sharpen. Handle is perfect for quick deployment and retention.

9.5/10 knife
This is exceptional. The handle, although a bit bigger and heavier than I expected, is extremely comfortable, the knife presents at a natural angle, and it's very sharp. There's a gradual taper on the spine down to a very fine point and the texture on the thumb ramp is a nice addition so I think this will be an excellent self defense/utility knife. I choose version 1 because I thought it was a basic belt clip but it's a close loop; I replaced that with a steel clip so I can wear it with gym pants or IWB with a belt. My only con is that the weight is all in the back of the handle and that affects the way it conceals IWB but otherwise, it's excellent.

Really nice knife with good weight t to it
I had to make small alterations to the blade where your finger touches the finger groove on the bottom I opened it up some and brought it back so that I could actually get a good purchase on it while it was in the case. I also made some alterations to the case so that it would grip better.I found that I have to almost customize every item that I buy to fit my needs properly so that's not a problem.I even like it better than the ka -bar inspector that I have.

A good choice. nice size.
A version of this knife is often worn by LEO. However this will not fit on a gun belt. It is ambidextreous with the adjusting of some screws. The blade is a nice size and the handle sits firmly in your hand. It is a great last defense knife. Well priced.

Descent enough
I have the Brous version, and this version is nothing like the og, however it’s 33$ and not 200$. You can’t buy the Brous as they discontinued it. I didn’t purchase this thinking it was gunna be as stellar as the Brous, and all in all, it’s not terrible and I could afford to take the risk. Not sure if the blade is D2 but D2 is certainly not worth 200$ these days anyway. It’s sharp, cuts fine, changed out the clip with some button straps and works. The blade did come with some minor discoloration but it is what it is. I do like that this one has a tiny finger guard for your index finger. The blade is slightly bigger that the Brous as well. Gimping also fine and the handles feel like G10 but again I can’t be certain. The Kydex sheath has fine retention and is good to go IMO. I have always loved the design, unfortunately my Brous tip chipped and needed a replacement. This will be just fine. If it breaks I’m not out 200$

Tdi substitute
I was thinking of getting a Kabar TDI and ran across the Brous blade mfceo while searching… this blade shape and length seemed more appealing to me but it appears to be discontinued or maybe just out of stock I’m not sure. So the Masolong seem to be a good substitute. I was hoping to carry this weak side appendix IWB with a piece of paracord on the belt but the sheath is a bit bigger than it needs to be for IWB so I will probably try to get a sheath made for it.The tech lock copy that came with it is pretty cool too. Though I’m still interested in the regiment blade colonel
