Q: I bought two of these on June 1st for $199.97 and wanted to get more. Why are they now $348 used ?????

I checked on this monitor about 50 times before I purchased 2 and the price changed just about every few days. What I found was Amazon ships and sells this as new - when they have them in stock, the new price is $199.99. However, as soon as they run out of inventory (I'm guessing) - they're only sold by 3rd parties used for WAY more than Amazon sells them new. Just keep checking back on the listing until they're back in stock.

Q: Is this monitor vesa compatible? if so what is the pattern?

All Sceptre monitors are VESA compatible. The pattern is 100mmx100mm, and the screws are M4x8mm.

Q: Is this vesa mount compatible?

Yes but the mounting hardware for the monitor stand protrudes out of the monitor making it impossible to use a vesa mount with a flat plate against the monitor.

Q: How does this work on a mac? Any issues?

I got this monitor yesterday and hooked it up to my mac mini with no issues in my limited use so far.
