Women's Pocahontas

I'm always hesitant with buying clothing items online, especially Halloween costumes. They never seem to fit right; too short, too big, scratchy, the list goes on. Seeing that this was a one-size-fits-all made me even more nervous. I'm 5'5" at 130lbs. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually fits perfectly, not even just for my body type. The belt it comes with is basically just a long piece of fabric. The dress itself is a rather large rectangle (without the belt it's kind of like a Fred Flinstone shape) so the belt allows you to tie the dress to your body for the perfect fit around the waist and looks great! The length goes down to my knees as it does on the woman on the photo so it's definitely a family-friendly costume. I have to wear it to work as a server so I am confident I will be covered at all times while doing my job both on the top and bottom. The top fits snugly, and the dress is simple enough that, if you're sewing savvy (I am not), it would be really easy to make alterations. The necklace, however, is a joke. It is literally just a blue piece of felt (not shiny or thick as it appears in the photo) with a small piece of Velcro slapped on. You would be better off making your own necklace in my opinion. the frill things on the top do not go onto the back, it is on the front only, but I honestly don't think it looks bad. I wore a black bra and underwear with this dress and absolutely nothing was visible so I was pleased with the thickness (dress itself is rather thin and light, but I am referring to thickness as in undergarment visibility). Overall, VERY pleased with the purchase. Cheap and it works!

Costume was totally different then what was shown!

I am 5'5, 120 lbs. To give a better idea of my size, if it fits the manican it fits me. I bought this worried that it would be too big, but worse case I would just tailor it if it was too big. It actually fit me perfectly! This dress isn't made to fit tightly, it is meant to be worn somewhat loosely. The only thing I did not like was the necklace because that does not look like the necklace Pocahontas worn, but at that price I cannot complain. I just went through etsy and bought a necklace there. Arrived on time and was in great condition.

Fits much too big but I guess that's the chance you take with a one size fits all. The accessories - arm bands and "necklace" are cheap strips of fabric. Didn't end up wearing it for Halloween.

I read all the reviews for this costume and there were women about my size who ordered and said it was fine just short. I couldn't even get the dress over my shoulders. It was super tight and had NO stretch at all so In order for the dress to look as big as it does in the model in the pic, u basically have to be a pixie size woman. The accessories were basically felt material and looked terrible. Very disappointed
