Learning Resources STEM Sink or Float Activity Set, Early Science Concepts, 32 Pieces, Ages 5+

My son is still just a little too young to grasp the concept, but the product is amazing. I really like the activity card that came with it and will be utilizing this once he starts to understand it a little better.

My little guy loves playing with this. I love how he is learning as he plays! We mainly bring it out in the tub. I love how the activity cards spell out exactly what to do.

Fun colorful pieces and has a very nice activity guide inside with worksheets. Good for educators of elementary age children.

I purchased this for my son who really loves science and experiments, but we were both a little disappointed with this set. It comes with instruction cards. The purpose is mostly to see how many objects will it take to sink the raft, and unfortunately, it only takes very few - so the raft sinks quickly before you can get excited by counting all the items. We found some other bases we already owned (boats, plastic containers) and used those instead which made it more fun. He still likes it, and even likes doing the experiments over and over in the bath, but without some home tools it wouldn't have been fun.

Bought this at Christmas time, and it has definitely been an amazing purchase. Great for little ones to play with in water tables to just explore on their own, or use more formally by using the included cards that have a specific sink or float activity on them. My 2 and 4 year old have not gotten bored with this, and ask to play with it frequently. It has held up well, with the exception of the star shaped sponge which was ripped in half rather quickly. If you are looking for a fun way to introduce scientific exploration, and provide educational play, this is a perfect set!
