Great Value for a Flavorful Lightly Oxidized Oolong at this Price Point.
At first, I was confused. The Box Label says "Ooolong Tea", but the description says it's a "Green Tea". So, which is it? It is an "Oolong Tea", but a very lightly oxydized one. Oolong Teas cover the Widest Spectrum of all Teas, and are the most complex to produce, because of the many steps involved, IF it's properly done. It covers a very wide spectrum of tea, from very lightly oxidized Oolongs with very Light Flavor, almost like a Green Tea, all the way over to very heavily oxydized very dark Oolongs with very Strong Flavor, almost like a Black Tea. This one is on the Lightly Oxidized end of the Spectrum, kind of like a combination of a Green Tea and an Oolong Tea (like they say in the Box's Description of this Tea), but with none of the "Grassy" taste of a Green. It has a very Mild Flavor, is easy on the stomach, with ABSOLUTELY NO BITTERNESS, no matter How Long you Steep It, and is a Darker Brown Color, like Oolongs typically are. Since it is NOT a Green, but an Oolong, I brewed it at +210F (just under boiling), in 16 ounces of water (2 cups), Brewing Time of 3 to 5 minutes, since this is an Oolong... and for me, this is the degree of Mildness and Flavor that I like. Everyone is different. The "usual" for Oolongs, is with 8 ounces of water (1 cup), but for me, that's too strong, and since this is a Tea Bag, I cannot adjust the amount of Tea... just the amount of Water, Brew Temperature, and Brewing Time.. Since there are plenty (100) of Tea Bags here, you can experiment with adjusting things to suit your preferences, until you get exactly how you like it. I did not see the CA Proposition 65 Warning anywhere on the Box, so I presume this Tea did NOT come from Mainland China, which is good. However, it does NOT say where it did come from. If I had to guess, this Tea was Pan-Fried, Chinese Style. To me, it does not taste like a Steam-Heated Japanese Style tea, although there are Pan-Fried places in Japan (but they are very few, and far between). Is this a Taiwan Oolong Tea? Maybe, but the price seems too low for it to be one of those. In any event, the Taste, Flavor, Aroma, Color, and Aftertaste are plenty good enough (after I adjusted it) for me to drink this every day, on a regular basis, and for being such a Great Value at this Price Point, I give it 5-STARS, and recommend you try it too. The Tea Spectator :o)UPDATE on June 22, 2024: I've been drinking so may of these Uncle Lee's Legends of China Oolong Tea bags, that I've almost run out, and ordered another one. For $8.48/100 bags, it's a STEAL!!UPDATE on August 9, 2024: I'm getting Low, so I ordered my next box of this Wonderful "Uncle Lee's Legends of China, Oolong Tea". I LOVE this Tea. Even though it's a Bag Tea, it's amazingly Full Flavored and a Great Oolong Tea. I'm continuing to drink a GALLON per day. Like I said, Oolong Tea is the MOST COMPLEX to Produce, and CANNOT be "Fixed" if any Error(s) are made, so I'm just amazed at the price this is at for Perfectly Produced Oolong Bag Tea. It's still 5-STARS. I say, "GO FOR IT!!!"UPDATE on December 24, 2024: With President-Elect Trump coming to Office very soon, and saying he's going to Levy Import Taxes on the Mainland Chinese, I'm stocking UP on Chinese Tea's, before their Prices start ROCKET'ing UP into the Upper Atmospheric PRICE's... ouch... !!!And even if it does not, I LOVE this Uncle Lee's Oolong Tea anyway, so it's going to get consumed, regardless of what happens to Chinese Tea Prices in 2025.UPDATE: January 2, 2025, I noticed the price got dropped down to $7.99/box of 100 bags, and no tax (for me), so I ordered another box, again, just in case Trump proceeds with Import Taxing ALL Goods from China, starting January 20, 2025, for whatever reason(s) he says makes us MAGA. I just want my Uncle Lee's Oolong Tea, as one of my Simple Pleasures in Life, to be enjoyed and give me relaxation AND alertness. 5-STAR's... !!!

Tastes legendary
I love the taste of this type of tea, combined with the price. Tastes how standard oolong tea should taste, but a lot cheaper. They should really make more types of oolong.

Bold rich taste
It’s like the old Chinese tea in the restaurant back in the 70s. Delicious. Now that I found it it’s the only tea I drink
