I own11 cadence reels and they are very reliable. Have caught redfish, grouper, sheephead, trout, spanish mackerel and various other fish while saltwater fishing

Bang for the your bucks✔️ Good looking reel✔️
Bang for the bucks this is a grate buy. Normally I would rather send the money and get a Penn. Over the passed few years I’ve seen more and more of these little light weight tackle reels in my area of North Florida. So far I’ve had a 2-3 foot Bonnet head sharks, nice size blue cats, and other types of fish and the reel is smooth no issues. The drag seems to work wonderfully but I’m sure that’s where the down fall to this reel will come from. It’s a little poorly made as far as the drag goes but if I get a few years out of it I’ll be able to replace it for little of nothing compared to a Penn. It’s still early on and fresh out of the box, were I stand at the moment I would recommend this reel for a beginner fisherman even to a experienced fisherman looking for the next best replacement rig!

Solid Reel- Cadence Stout 5000
I have enjoyed fishing with this reel, this was added to my set of surf casting rods paired with a 10ft surf rod. This reel is light and the power knob makes reeling a breeze. Going on my third season and little to know maintenance has been required, of course the cleaning of reel with freshwater after every use. I would definitely make this purchase again!

Quality Fishing Reels
I ordered the Stout 6000 for surf fishing with artificial lures on the Texas Gulf Coast. This is my 5th reel from Cadence. Two baitcasting reels, and two other lighter spinning reels. All have mèt all my expectations. They are well made, quality equal or better than the big name reels. All have worked flawlessly. And all have only fished in saltwaterIf you are looking for a new fishing reel, I highly recommend a reel from Cadence.

Very smooth operation.
Looking for a lightweight spinning reel for WaterLoo Rod. Used once so far and it casts and retrieves very smooth. Will see how it holds up to harsh saltwater conditions wade fishing.
