The tape works now!
I have been using full shine extensions for the last year in different lengths and shades of blonde. I Used to have to replace the tapes with a different brand before installing because the original full shine tapes just didn't hold up after the first wash no matter how precise I applied or how squeaky clean my hair was. This most recent order on April 22nd, I didn't have replacement tapes so I just prayed that they worked. They had to have upgraded their tapes, because these have stayed in BEAUTIFULLY since I installed and I have washed multiple times with zero issues. For longevity of care:Sleep in a silk bonnet!Use good leave in conditioner on your extensions.Brush gently.Removal:Get a good oil remover! Applyinbetween the tapes and gently peel apart. I have minimal shedding this way.I usually take my tapes out after 3-4 weeks and give my scalp a little break. I also use scalp oil on hair wash days with or without extensions in.Overall, these are a great value!

Great starter extensions!
This is my first time ever having extensions, so that’s the point of view from which I’ll be evaluating these extensions.I’ve been having issues with hair thinning for the last year and my hairdresser finally sold me on the idea of tape ins. She recommended that I try these Full Shine hair extensions from Amazon because she’s had other clients wear them, and they’re very cost friendly for a newbie who may not end up liking extensions (spoiler I love how I look with extensions. The extra work is worth it).Up until this point, I assumed that hair extensions were always in the thousands, so I was very surprised to be able to buy the two packs I needed for $80. She had me buy a pack of 16 inch and a pack of 14 inch. I bought extensions lighter than my natural hair color and then hand dyed them myself using the dye I put on my roots and the color came out beautiful. I purchased extensions that had highlights in them, so that when I dyed them myself, there’d be a lot of dimension in the color, and it worked out.My hairdresser placed these, so I did have professional installation, and you can see the results in my before and after picture.Pros: these extensions are soft to the touch, and they actually blend really well with my thin fine hair. However, even though they feel soft, they’re definitely a coarser hair than mine, which is great because that means they actually hold a curl. I can curl these with a 2 inch barrel, let them cool, and then brush out the curls, and I have amazing waves that hold all day. I’ve been really happy with the texture of the hair.I wore this set for six weeks and none of the tape slipped with me washing my hair about once every 5 to 7 days. I did use heat styling on these and everything was fine. They felt heavy at first, but after the first four or five days I got used to the feeling and as they started to grow out they became more comfortable. I had them taken out at six weeks so I could re-dye my roots and move them up.Cons: these extensions definitely shed a lot. In the six weeks I wore them, everytime I brushed my hair there was hair all over the sink which has never been a problem for me. And when I was cleaning them up and examining them for reuse I could definitely tell that the used extensions (versus the few leftover new ones we didn’t use) were about 25-40% thinner than the new ones so these extensions do lose hair rather quickly. Some of the ends got pretty scraggly. That being said, even though they were visibly thinner, I still went ahead and re-taped them and had them installed for a second six weeks. My hair dresser ended up trimming off the raggedy ends. The after picture attached is actually day one of my second six week cycle so those extensions are six weeks old. I think 12 weeks will probably be the max for these extensions before they are too scraggly to rewear, but that’s still really good for $40 a pack I think.Another con is that they don’t come with enough tape strips to fully re-tape all of them. My hairdresser had to give me some from her stash. If you are brand new to extensions, I’d say for sure give these go. But I’d recommend having them professionally installed if you can. I think there is an art to placing these so they are comfortable and concealed, which is what you get when you pay a hairdresser. Ulta has good rates for a professional installation.

Great hair! Tape works too good
Yall the hair is GREAT I did not take care of this hair at all and it lasts months. I loved it. My complaint is that it does not look like it does in the pictures but I ended up making it work. The hair is Curley after it gets wet and it’s frizzy. I don’t know anything about curly hair so I don’t know how to style it unless I straighten it or curl it. So I did. A lot. No problems. I got 20 inches and every inch has lasted. My complaint is that the tapes work too good. Stuck in my hair currently after taking them out. I’m honestly concerned. I took the extensions out and I still have some of the tape sandwiches in my hair and I do not know what to do to get it out it won’t come out. My hair is very sticky where the extensions were. I’ve used so many different products to get the tape out. Washed my hair deep conditioned. This tape and the residue is stuck in my hair.

Great extensions
had them in for about 5 weeks. really good quality and have lasted long. they do get tangled pretty easily, so a good deep conditioner helps.

Great Purchase
I'm impressed by these extentions. I was skeptical bc of the price. But they have really held up great! I'm definitely buying them again! As long as you take care of them there is very mild tangle. Color match was on point! After washing them they became wavy and frizz a little. I used leave in conditioner that helps. No shedding and very soft. A great value for the money. Light weight depending how many grams. I haven't experienced any dryness.

My favorite hair extension’s !
My all time fav tape ins! I love all the different colors this brand has to offer it makes color matching a breeze. These extensions are such great quality for the price point! One tip I will recommend is to flat iron the tape ins at the base of the root where they are applied to make them last, as the tape sometimes become weak after some time. But overall will recommend 100%!
