I’m a hairdresser and always use this style of comb on any type of hair or haircut. These will do the job but honestly they don’t feel the same as Wahl brand combs do in my hands. They don’t comb long wet hair the same as the ones I’m used to … not sure if that makes sense to anyone outside my field but that’s my opinion.

I had to buy my own for work and I never liked these because of indents or ledge from bristle and comb. But these are straight smooth across without causing a bumpy slide with blending your clients hair!

If you use the Whal brand of these then you will like them. They are great! I like having different colors and these are a great price. Unless you are extraordinarily picky, which I know what that is like, because I am that way with some things. You know to the point that someone could think you have a disorder of some type? If your like that then this tiniest difference in feel of comb will not be for you. If you don't have OCD about combs, GREAT!! Barbicide does not change combs integrity.
