Absolutely beautiful ceilings tiles and easy to install
The media could not be loaded. These ceiling tiles are absolutely perfect 👌🏾 I purchased them to cover up my not so pretty ceiling. I really took my time installing them. My area is an open floor plan so I purchased enough for over 770 square footage. I also painted each one with ceiling paint. It worked out perfectly 👌🏾 I took my time and installed each one using loctite heavy duty power grab. It was very easy and it looks great 👍🏽

They look like cheap styrafoam until you get them up on the ceiling and then wow!
I love these and they were the perfect solution to a kitchen recessed ceiling that I remodeled and removed the florescent light tubes. Instead I put recessed lights and the ceiling had a lot of damage to it through the process. I wasn't able to find replacement ceiling tiles that existed so I would have had to pay my contractor to put sheet rock up and then texture which would have been around $300. This turned out to be the perfect solution even though when I first got them I was worried.Amazon delivered them within a couple of days and when my contractor and I opened the package....we both were disappointed that they were styrafoam (somehow I missed that in the description). After thinking about it for a day or two we decided to put them up and give them a try. My contractor was very hesitant but said what the heck. I also purchased 2 tubes of the Loctite Power Grab adhesive that the seller recommended and it worked like a charm. They look amazing and almost like some expensive texturing custom done. The tiles don't look like styrafoam once they are up even on 8' ceilings! I also ordered more to do the trim around the recessed ceiling and another soffit after my contractor went ahead and started adding them because he thought they looked so good!! Fooled us both! I hope others learn from my experience and don't return them based on just opening the box....give them a try first! I have purchased a total of 4 packages now and all came shipped perfect with no problems. Mine still have to be calked and painted but they look so good now that I wanted to share with others so they try them first and not just return them because they do look cheesy before installed! I will add pictures once they are completed. Definitely a thumbs up!!

Love these tiles.
My bathroom needed a new ceiling and these tiles made it so simple to fix my issue. Plus the insulate for sound and heat. They look fantastic too

Great look/order more than needed to allow for damage
Love the look of these ceiling tiles. They were an easy fix for a problem ceiling. The installation was relatively easy as well. My only caution is to be sure and order a little more than you need as we had about 10% of the tiles arrive damaged. They come in packages of 8, so out of the 8 packages we ordered, 8 of them had damage. Also, some were curled slightly which required more adhesive to stick to the ceiling.

Chalklines be Damned
Update: four years later both the painted and unpainted tiles look just as good.----------Feather light and sooooo easy to put up. Right over some atrocious popcorn ceiling from the sixties. I used the suggested Loctite Power Grab in white, in Heavy Duty option. The video and instructions squeeze the stuff on in a 4x4 grid "dime size" in dollops. Worked great for me!One 9 oz tube put up eight tiles(21.66 ft), and it could probably be stretched a little further. My local Lowe's gives a bulk discount for Loctite in purchases of 12+ so suggest checking there, it was about fifty cents cheaper per tube than on Amazon. There is another awesome reviewer who posted a photo of her work that inspired me-- she laid the tile at a diagonal and I found the look to be utterly superior to the squared positioning. I believe the same is true of tile flooring as well: it creates more interesting visual movement and has a widening effect on the room. Plus...the challenge of it :) I couldn't resist.I'll still have to paint the tiles and glue up some trim. Next time, will try painting it all beforehand and just caulk any awkward seams. The tiles cut easier-than-butter using a razor. Upon delivery, there were about 6 (of 96) slightly smooshed at the corner, but not sweating it! Whether this is laid at 90 or 45 degrees, it's inevitable that some ends will have to be trimmed to the size of the room and discarded.I wouldn't trust my own talent to put this in a steamy bathroom. To ensure zero mold growth the tiles would have to be painted with multiple coats to perfection, then every. single. joint sealed with silicone, then every contact point with the wall also sealed. Nope nope, just nope. I know my limits.Lastly on the subject of finding the center of the room and drawing chalklines...I didn't bother. However, I did pre-measure L x W, and adjusted the size of the starting piece to ensure the final tile on the opposite walls wouldn't be too short (for both structure and visuals).Already purchased another style from this company for the living area and kitchen. Super excited :)

Almost as thin as paper
These were horrible. I could not believe how cheaply they were made. They were thinner than the take out boxes you get at restaurants. I only bought these through amazon because decorativeceilingtiles were out of the style I wanted. Home Depots were better quality than these. I can't imagine even trying to glue these up. They were thinner than the styrofoam paper plates I have. Don't trust the reviews that these are good. They are not!

These are styrofoam. Looks like Styrofoam
I saw in the box. Pretty white, with nice design; but totally looks like a styrofoam cup.I was expecting plastic; thin flexible plastic. Maybe with a shine. I have never used this product. I just didn't think 179 was worth the cost of buy styrofoam.I could take the popcorn down myself and paint for that price. Just wasn't the product for me.
