Elegant
I like the tabs. They gave a few extra for books not in my Bible. BUT I like the way they look. The sleekness and appeal is right to my feminine side. The gold goes great with my Bible. They stick wherever I place them and the way they give directions are easy with a ruler and everything.

Amazing!
Now my daughter can easily find books in her bible. Place marker was easy to read (you'll need a ruler to cut to size).

Easy to read, good adhesion but not easy to remove
I had to read the directions twice and use the practice tabs, but I finally figured it out (sort-of). The tabs are plastic and it's tricky putting on the tabs so I recommend using the practice tabs first. All the Catholic books are there, but the indexes are different. I started at the top of the first page, peeled off the strip and carefully placed the first tab at the top of the page. It was hard to get centered and you've only got one chance to get it right. From there, each successive book starts one tab down until I got the whole bible tabbed. It took a couple of hours. Things didn't line up as well as I wanted, but I did the best I could. I'm thinking of using a different product for my other bible.

Perfect!
None of the books were missing. Deuterocanonical books included. Easy application, especially if you use the tab positioning guide provided! Directions are very thorough.

Very Nice Gold-Trimmed Bible Tabs
I received my gold-trimmed Bible tabs last night and stayed up to placed all my tabs in my Bible. I followed the directions and used the page guide to line up my tabs, but like other reviews have stated the page guide is off and this made the Bible tabs off. Some were perfectly spaced, others over-lapped a bit and others had a gap between tabs. Now here is the interesting thing - I LOVE IT! The finished product was wonderful, even with all the over-lapping and gaps, it was truly wonderful. Why? Because I placed my tabs in my Bible NOT a machine. The tabs not only make my Bible look beautiful, but it made it look organic and real.I have had my current Holy Bible for 10 years and I have used it for Devotions, Prayers, Intense Bible Study and Illumination. I use THE REVISED STANDARD VERSION WITH THE EXPANDED APOCRYPHA (1977 Edition), and this is my second Holy Bible in my entire life. My first RSV Holy Bible w/Expanded Apocrypha I beat up so bad I had to retire it back in 2003 and immediately bought my current RSV Holy Bible, which I have tried not to beat up as much, but all I am doing is delaying its destrution from over use. However, being I currently closed 10 years of sustained and loving use of my current RSV Holy Bible and it's still in good shape I decided to get these gold-trimmed Bible tabs to just spruce my Bible up a bit. Well, it really did spruce it up and made it look even better than before. Also, like I said before the gaps and over-lapping of the tabs make my Bible feel real (organic) or, like my wife likes to say, "Well loved."These Bible tabs are wonderful, take the time to get them and then placed these tabs in your bible and let everytbody know that your Bible is "Well Loved." I highly endorse this product and hope that others buy these tabs and use them in their Bible.ONE MAJOR DRAW BACK: Being that I have THE REVISED STANDARD VERSION WITH THE EXPANDED APOCRYPHA (1977 Edition) this version of the Holy Bible, besides being the best English translation of the Holy Bible, includes 1 Esdras, Additions to Daniel, Prayers of Manassess, Letter of Jeremiah, 3 Maccabees, 4 Maccabees & Psalm 151. There are NO Bible tabs for these books, NONE! Now the company that makes these tabs is located here in Itasca, IL (I live close by) and I am going to give them a call to see if they can special order/make me some of these gold-trimmed Bible tabs for 3 Maccabees, 4 Maccabees, Psalm 151, etc. Don't know if they can do it, but I will give it a shot and let you know what happens. The lack of Bible tabs for1 Esdras, Additions to Daniel, Prayer of Manassess, Letter of Jeremiah, 3 Maccabees, 4 Maccabees & Psalm 151 may not seems like a big deal, but as an Orthodox Christian, that has these books in their Orthodox/Septuagint Bible, that just tells me that American society still does not know about us, does not make alot of products for us, and it's only really been in the last 10 to 15 years that Amazon and other book sellers, on-line and in stores, have started to carry products from a strictly Eastern Orthodox perspective. I hope this increased awareness about Orthodoxy continues and that at some point Orthodoxy can stop being the best kept secret in America. One can only hope and pray.Peter A. Papoutsis

Finally! Help in Finding the Books of the Bible!
OK! Sure I "knew" all the books of the Bible and in proper sequence, .... back in 4th grade Sunday school class, and only because I wanted to get that nice new personalized Bible of my own. But today, when it really means something to be able to quickly get to the verse being studied when cited? It ain't happening for me. Heck, half the time I can't remember if the book they're talking about is in the old or new testament. Now that is really sad, don't you think?Very recently I found a new version of the Bible called the New Living Translation and what shocked the daylights out of me, I could understand what I was reading. "AMAZING!" Long story short, I purchased a new NLT large print Bible I felt would best suit my needs. Of course I bought it from Amazon.com the best place to find what you need at the best prices and quick delivery should you have the Prime Program. The Bible arrived in two days as promised and I opened it all excited only to be immediately struck with that deep down gut feeling of fear. There was no way to identify the books of the Bible or their location. I totally freaked because I've learned over the years I MUST HAVE "cheater tabs" to survive.I found exactly what I was looking for here, ordered them and received them very quickly. I'd read all the reviews so I now knew the easy part was over and the hard part only just beginning. I had read it might take from 45 minutes to a couple of hours to attached the indexed books of the Bible tabs and then there were all kinds of, " be careful of this and be careful of that" in the instructions.Well, I read the instructions a few times, combined that with the knowledge learned from the reviews, organized everything and started off. I am very happy to report everything went very well, no mistakes and I finished the job in about 2 hours. These tabs are great because they are very easy to read, very durable in design, attractively styled with black print and gold trim and permanently attach to the page. The good news they included a wonderful template to use in laying out all of the tabs cutting down on the work and time immensely. For the price and time investment I know I will get many years of quality service out of this product and beyond what I had anticipated. I am still relearning which books are new and old testament but man, is it a lot of fun now. I no longer get that gut panicked feeling when I have to find a verse quickly to keep up. Before, I would still be looking for the book of the Bible while everyone else had already finished and moved on. Not any more. Take all of that pressure off of yourself and invest in these Bible Tabs with Clear Tab Gold Center Strip & Black Lettering, which is easy to read. An investment which will return a great value for many years to come. Yes, I highly recommend this product especially after grossly under estimating how something so simple solves such a distressing problem.

Works okay but set up for Modernist Bibles
I've had the tabs in my Baronius Douay-Rheims for about a year and they've held up fine. Unfortunately the book names don't match up with the Vulgate/Septuagint and instead follow the Hebrew. I guess for the company it makes sense since Novus Ordo Bibles nowadays are translations from the Hebrew Masoretic texts and use Hebrew naming. If someone starts making tabs for Vulgate based Bibles I'll definitely buy them.

MINI BIBLE LABELS THAT ARE CLEAR, ROBUST AND STUNNING
These mini-size tabs are absolutely gorgeous. Very well made with a clearly-printed name and a gold edging so they look stunning when in place on your bible. Mine is a brown leather cover with gold edging to the pages so these tabs make it look really stunning without being so large as to be intrusive. The size is also great for those people who put their bible inside a bible folder as they don't make the bible itself any larger - they fit snugly within the confines of the bible itself. They are also repositionable if you make a mistake - just very carefully remove them if your bible pages are very thin (like mine) and you won't rip the page at all. I'm thrilled with them.

An excellent addition to your bible.
Very happy with my colour coded taggies. I can now quickly find the book I'm looking for, without looking up the index.Easy to apply although be prepared to set aside a few hours to attach them neatly! Highly recommended.Incidentally, the book of Sirach is in my Jerusalem Bible as Ecclesiasticus. There was only a taggie for Sirach, not both. I used a small label to ammend it.

Very useful
A little patience needed to get the placement right but once in place very useful. Clear/easy to read.Caution if the pages of your bible are thin- do not use the tab to turn the page as you may risk tearing it.

Worse Bible tabs ever made.Tear Bibles apart in seconds
Made for a small Bible but none the less they did the job.Be careful taking them off & on as they can rip the pages if you're not careful. Will keep seller in mind.
