Other than being a little long, it's a great antenna

Great VHF/UHF antenna
I pickup one of these antennas about 2 years ago at a ham fest. So when needing a new antenna for my second car I purchased this one.

I use a larger magnet base when needed. I checked SWR with my analyzer and it's very low for both bands. (Under 1.5 for both) An old ham told me once, invest in a good antenna every time.

wonderful reach, addaptable with its lay down function
This antenna is perfect. I've had it for a few months and am genuinely pleased. I operate a ham station from home and have a mobile unit as well, this antenna helps me reach out while I travel. I'm frequently in hilly terrain, if I need to contact someone while in the valley I can. Priceless and necessary when in disaster times.I garage my car. I can lay this antenna down by unscrewing the threaded piece at the base. functionally perfect.I have two of these. You won't be disappointed.

Great performance, however
Great performance, however, the tip over basis very delicate. a very small internal piece of the hinge easily snaps off, rendering the antenna useless. Beware... Handle with great care.
