Surprisingly nice little shock mount for SM58
Yeah, I know. The way I see it is the Shure SM58 is a classic and has a distinct sound to it. Adding this shock mount was at first a joke but, you can't deny it works. It's really thin metal and plastic but it does what it's suppose to do. The SM57 always had great handling characteristics but this is just over the top fun. Makes the fancy dynamic mic crowd all stressed. Especially when you get up on the mic and boom into the mix like an Earth Quake!

Great Shock Mount
The shock mount is great, works well on the SM58. Holds the mic securely and is easy to swap mics. - 1 star because the pop filter is pretty thin and delicate but for the price is a great deal!

Nice product at the right price.
You can pay a lot more for the same performance as this vibration isolator, but it won't work any better. Nice product at the right price...

Mild improvement over a basic solid holder
The elastic bands that hold the mic seem to come out easily, though they can be repositioned. It fits my Behringer XM8500 dimensionally, but it seems like the weight might be much which is unfortunate considering it is not a very large mic. Testing the shock absorption using a springy mic boom, it a good amount desk sound still reverberates through the shock mount to my mic. Overall, it is an improvement at reducing sound, but it feels very cheap and does not inspire too much confidence honestly.
