LG 5859EA1004G Washer Drain Pump Assembly

My washer pump went out and this item plus a couple of YouTube videos and it was in the washer within 30 minutes.

This pump fit perfectly like others have said and the installation was fairly simple. So far I have had about 30 loads run through and all is well. The only time I was a little worried was when I tried pulling out the water leak sensor plug. The whole sensor came out of its mount but that actually made it easier to install on the new short plug that was attached to the pump.My old pump was inoperative so the washer still had water in it even after I bailed out the tub as best I could. To get the rest out I used my wet/dry vac and put the drain hose inside the vacuum hose and it sucked the remaining water out just fine. Its hard not get get things wet inside so just make sure you dry up any mess especially around the water leak detector probe (the thing connected to the short plug on the pump) otherwise the washer will think there is a leak.

I have an LG Model WT5170HV top load washer. The display started showing messages, which wound up being a faulty drain pump. The package contained the pump, mounting bracket and new wiring harness. The installation was fairly easy and so far the new pump is working fine. However, the wiring harness does not fit exactly like the original harness. The new harness plugs into the pump and main wiring harness correctly. However, the separate wire that runs to the sensor located near the pump (see picture) is barely long enough to fit. For now, I am using the provided harness, but will keep my original wiring harness.

LG model WT5070CW was displaying code OE and would not drain. This part fixed it up in about 10 minutes. This part comes with the metal mount for the pump to sit on, which was good for me because the rubber parts of my old one were wasted. It also comes with a wiring harness that I did not use. I just plugged j to the original harness. Saved me the cost of a new washer for now anyway.

The pump arrived on time and installed easily but leaked. After disconnecting and reconnecting with a new hose the pump still leaked and this time much worse. After inspecting the pump more closely I found a crack in the housing at the inlet. I submitted a return and selected the replacement option which was supposed to have arrived last week. I shipped back the defective pump as well.Since the replacement never arrived i contacted Amazon via online chat today and selected the order to discuss. For some unknown reason the replacement showed as cancelled on the same day I submitted the return and without notification! During the Amazon chat they said a credit would be given but it has been over 3 weeks now without a working washer.Before selecting this pump from this seller I read some of the negative reviews about cracked pumps but still purchased due to the positive reviews. I would not recommend this seller and assume they cancelled the replacement without notifying me. The only good thing out of this ordeal is finding the craft beer brewing company next to the laundromat we have been using!

The drain pump in my LG top load washer went out. The local appliance parts store didn't have one in stock, but could get it in 2 days at a cost of $160. Found this one on Amazon at a much cheaper price and was to be delivered in 2 days. Much to my surprise, it was delivered in 1 day. Everything about this part looked and fit exactly like the OE part. The replacement pump works perfectly and my washer is working again. I didn't use the included wiring harness, but I appreciate they include it with the pump.

My moms lg washer had this part leak water,and this part fixed it.not easy to replace but worth it
