All Clad does it again! Great buy!
All Clad makes the best cooking appliances and pans and this did NOT disappoint. I love it for ease of use and how quickly I can make cook a large volume of waffles. I no longer buy store bought waffles for my kids breakfasts, I just make extra and freeze individually. Not only does it cook evenly and easily, it is a beautiful and sleek appliance. I really enjoy this waffle maker.

Perfect Waffles!
This waffle maker makes absolutely perfect waffles! It is VERY heavy and is easy to clean and use. I like the timer control as well.

Nice waffle maker
I expect quality from All Clad and this did not disappoint. It’s kinda heavy but not too much for this 64 yr old, 5’5” woman to handle. Mine seems to run hot; haven’t gone over the heat setting of 2 or 3 for any kind of waffles yet. Have made waffles without any spray coating and with coating, and it works well either way, even when I have added fruit to the batter. I use ‘hot dog tongs’ to remove the waffles when done. Be careful never to touch anything on the waffle maker except the handles when it’s heating or hot cuz almost everywhere on the unit gets really hot and WILL burn you (or the little fingers of impatient and hungry toddlers.) I love the removable plates; makes clean up a breeze. It has a little catch bin to place at the back for excess batter, but in 2+ months of regular use, I haven’t had any spillover yet. I make a big batch each time and put the extra in ziplock bags in the freezer; then pop them in the toaster when ready to use. I’m looking forward to experimenting with this; lots of ideas on YouTube….despite what it will do to my waistline!

The most awesome waffle maker ever
This is the best waffle maker I have ever used. Waffles are a Sunday morning staple at our house. I have used many, many waffle makers over the years and I have been disappointed with every one them mostly because its hard to make decent waffles with them. My new All-Clad Waffle Maker, in contrast, is excellent in every way. Foremost of its features is that it makes perfect waffles each and every time. I tried it with yeast-based batter, out-of-the-box leavened batters and also batters with sweet or savory additions. Each and every waffle was perfect including the very first one I made with it. It's very easy to use. The waffles come out in 4 large sections so you quickly get them on the table for family and friends. The overflow catcher really works. It's very easy to clean and store.Plusses:1. Makes perfect waffles every time - no learning/adjusting curve, every batter style2. Easy to use3. Makes 4 slices out of each fill so you can make a lot quickly4. Overflow catcher really works4. Easy to clean5. Has a hinge lock and and large handle for convenient horizontal or vertical storageMinuses1. It's expensive if you don't make waffles frequently2. It's more substantial and heavier than many home waffle makers

Worst waffle maker
This is one of the worst waffle makers we have ever had.The waffles stick just about every time and the temperature is not consistant. We put it in the trash today.

A Very Nice Waffle Maker
I have been in search of a good Belgium waffle maker forever. I finally settled on this one, model number WD822D51. So the prose: seems to be well-built. Removable plates are a nice feature. Excellent nonstick coating. The overfill tray is also a nice feature. Although the batter did spill from the front when I got a little zealous and put more than enough. The instruction said to start at three out of six doneness levels. I did follow the instructions but found out that even this low selection produced some burning. I made six batches using all four squares. I used a yeast batter. For half of the batches, I used a non-stick spray. The oil burned on all three. So, I decided to try without the spray and the outcome was much better. I put the waffles in a 350-degree oven for about 30 minutes and this made a very nice crunch on the outside with a chewy middle. Cleanup was easy. Overall, not completely disappointed. A lot of the issues I am having could be the recipe. I will keep trying to find the best...as of now, they all have been somewhat disappointing. The family likes the waffles anyway. However, I find that it is difficult to get true honest reviews from family because they don’t want to hurt my feelings.Cons: This waffle maker is very pricy. The biggest downer is it was advertised as giving even heat throughout the cooking surface. This is not true. It isn’t any better than all the other waffle irons I have tried, but if you are going to advertise something it should be the truth. The waffles were burnt on the outside edges. The middle areas were blotchy. Baking the waffles in the oven crisped the waffle and it was very tasty. But why do I need to do this? The unit is heavy and very large. Just what I wanted but may not be for everyone. Conclusion: I will keep this waffle maker even though it has some drawbacks. I will also continue to find the right recipe. Is it perfect? No! The next one I try will probably be a commercial unit. Overall not a bad maker. If you can take the high price this may be the waffle maker for you.

The Best
Oh boy, are these waffles great. #3 setting is crispy golden brown. The kids like them a little softer from #2. So easy keep clean while waffling and even easier to toss into the dishwasher. No more wasting time cleaning the whole machine because of ooze. The downside, my wife now wants waffles every morning.BTW, it's a great way to make grilled cheese sandwiches too. Just slap the cheese between two slices and pop it in. Wow, there are so many alternative meals you can make in this machine which I wouldn't dare try in my old waffle iron.

Makes an awesome waffle
This is a very expensive waffle maker but I love a good waffle and I was willing to spend more to be able to make them at home. This is very well made and it truly makes an amazing waffle. You are able to adjust the temperature to suit how well done you want your waffle. I like that you can take the plates out for easy cleaning. It weighs a ton but that’s okay because it’s made heavy duty. The waffles come out thick and delicious.
