Comfortable fit, Easy to use
Purchased 2 of these on behalf of an elderly relative with 40% hearing loss in one ear. So far he's managed to find a sound level that makes it easy to hear conversations. For the price point this is an excellent product. Should he lose one, there's a backup unit readily available!

So far so good
This is my first hearing device so bear with my review. I was told a few years ago that due to nerve damage my hearing had suffered and eventually I would need aids. Right now I hear MOSTLY OK. For a while I have noticed a miss dialogue on movies at home and in theaters and decided to investigate getting hearing aids via my audiologist. The cost was astronomical $5000 and up and no where were there any cheaper. A friend at a local nursing home told me to look on Amazon-- I am sure you are as skeptical as I was but there were several units available. All were sound amplifiers NOT true aids but for $30 I thought worth the try.As I said, this is my first foray into the field here so first off they came with everything promised and I know I must have them in all day everyday for my brain to adjust, which I am doing. The sound quality is awful IF I have the volume up around 3, but at 1 to 1½ it seems fine and there is less reverberation. Am I truly hearing as I should? I have no idea but I know conversation is very loud now. TV can still be muted but another interesting fact is that SOME stations are better than others so I assume the audio output on some channels is better than others and has little to do with MY ears. A good point since many might blame the hearing devices rater than the TV itself. The big plus for me was bringing the unit to a friend who has had hearing aids for many years and having her try it. She put it in and said the sound was better than her expensive ones. Of course they aren't as clear as hers and there is more of a hollow sound to these but the volume was better and her advice to me was "WOW--great buy. I would not spend thousands on the professional ones unless you REALLY need them at some point. These are great and I am going to order a pair this week."That sums it up for now. Perfect? NO but at the cost well-worth trying it out. I have only had them for 4 days so check back in a year!I do wonder about the earplugs and sizes however as although I received 6, none seem to fit me perfectly and the unit does fall out from time to time. I believe I need smaller ones? Maybe I am not doing something right? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Great Product but Short Life!
Bought this device 11 months ago and it worked really well, when I used it.Lately over the past 2 months, I’ve been using it every day and a few days ago it starting intermittently going in and out. Finally stopped working completely today. It was a good run for $20, and it’s just too bad that Todays products aren’t made to last very long.

They are loud but good
My grandma liked it but the only thing was she could hear at volume 2 but it was a bit to loud and 1 was to low. I did try them myself and I thought it was ok. They don't come in a pair. You can pay for protection I think $40 more. She has a small ear and I tried to adjust them and kept falling off so I used a clear rubber band big enough to hold it up

Only Worked for 2 days
I bought it for my dad and it worked great for about a day and a 1/2. Now as soon as I turn it on it makes a constant buzzing sound. Thought it was just a malfunction so I planned on replacing it, bought another one and the exact same thing happened. Waste of money and time.

Good product, excellent price.
It has been used for a week and so far it's excellent. It provides a very clear and powerful amplification, it's comfortable enough and most of all, the price was awesome.Other products are better in looks, fit or sound quality, perhaps added equalization presets, but at this price, this is simply unbeatable. We thought about trying this for a while, and if it wasn't enough for any reason, then we'd get an expensive one. So far we are certain this is a keeper, maybe even buy a second to use in both ears or just have a backup in case it's charging or whatever.Even if for any reason it lasts say, 3 months, it would still be cheaper than 3 months worth of batteries for a non-rechargeable device.

Works very well.
I have used these for many years now.I love the fact that its rechargeable and no batteries needed. It works well and beats the price of a hearing aid.Lasts for a while.
