Q: will this cover fit my 175 VMAX?

Fits my 2019 175 vmax perfectly. My boat is kept on an uncovered lift and has never sit overnight without the cover on boat and motor cover installed since May 2019. It is very high quality and has remained water proof. The fabric has not faded however the screen printed graphics have faded a bit. This does not affect performance of the cover. Highly recommend.

Q: Does this cover secure enough to tow boat with it on?

It is a very snug fit, but it still works it way off the motor while towing. You'd have to add a webbing strap that goes around the motor down by the prop. Other than that...it is a great cover

Q: is this for a 300hp ?

No, this cover is for a 4 cylinder 150-200hp motor.

Q: Will this cover fit a 2001 150 vmax

I don't 2001 but in my 2020 150 vmax fit perfect
