Fresh Organic Bananas Approximately 3 Lbs 1 Bunch of 6-9 Bananas

I opened my package and the banana were black, rotten, and were broken open! I was absolutely disappointed and disgusted.

I got 8 bananas. One I had to throw away as it was mushy. Three had a few brown marks but one of those I did eat and it was not damaged inside. All were ripe. I have eaten two so far and they have a great banana taste. Since I started eating only organic I am spoiled with the wonderful taste so there you are. It costs more but is worth it. I suggest the seller cushion them more because mine had to make a long trip up to my part of the world (I live on an island and can see Canada from my deck) and since only one on the side was mushy I'm assuming it was FEDEX. I don't complain because I am thrilled that, as I am elderly, I am still able to stay in my home and have a great variety of produce and groceries appear on my doorstep every week. Over the past two years I have seen packaging improve so I think this problem will fix itselfFollowup: I ordered these again and they arrived really hard and green, which I thought was okay. It is now over two weeks since I got them and they have shown no signs of any yellow. Still hard and green. I'm wondering how long they will take to ripen. It seems like a very long time.

Horrible. Every single banana was split open in the back, and there was a hissing sound, like there was carbonation or something. They weren't even ripe, totally green, yet they were mush, and had a horrible smell. Never buy these!

I always have a banana every day in my diet. When I ran out and it got too snowy and cold to go out. I substituted banana chips. But when the real fresh bananas arrive and in good condition with a tiny bit of green on both ends, I was glad. Couldn't wait to have one with breakfast. Very tasty and well packed with taped ends and fast delivery. I was so happy after eating I was close to happy tears. Good to know they can be ordered on Amazon. I was leery but so glad I did and it was better then I imagined. A little pricey but so well worth it. Will buy again

Too soft

most of them were not too oldbananas were not too frash, nor too over-ripe. or new, only 2 of then were slightly aged to have brown spots.

Tried to send some bananas to widowed sister in law in NY to put on cereal. Corn flakes arrived excellent, as advertised. Bananas arrived already black an inedible. First time I have been grossly disappointed with any Amazon orders. Hopefully Amazon will delete bananas to small towns where shipping is so slow food perishes.

Seller took time to seal end of Banana's to help reduce ripening. Was pkg'ed very well. Arrived in perfect condition. This fruit breaks down soon after harvesting. For those who complain.. Think about That!! Sellers offer produce. You can decide where to purchase. I have only positive comments. Happy with transaction!!
