Would buy again
This is my first powdered soap and it's an interesting concept that make washing up a little more fun. It's got a low ph so it doesn't leave a dry tight feeling, nor does it give you that slick slimy feeling either. It rinses clean and make my face feel fresh and comfortable. I have oily acneic skin and this works very well. One of the things I like about the powder formula is that if you want to exfoliate, you can just mix the powder granules less thoroughly with water for a grittier feeling. To use: Pour a dime to nickle sized amount of powder on your hand. Mix a bit of water in, enough to make it turn into a paste. Lather your face with the paste, it should create a foam. Alternatively, you can foam the paste up in your hand before you lather. To use it as a mild exfoliator, just wet your face and apply the powder directly to wet face. The powder should melt into foam as you scrub.Scent: If you've ever used Japanese or Korean foam cleansers, they have that scent. It smells exactly like Shiseido foaming cream cleansers. The scent is pretty strong, it smells like fabric softener, but goes away after you rinse.Texture: The powder feels like powdered laundry detergent. It's like soft white sand grains. When it melts, it feels like your typical asian collegean foam cleansers. A thick foam/cream type wash.Packaging: the packaging is pretty cool. It's a matte plastic bottle with a flip top opening. The hole at the top is about an inch wide and there is a internal reservoir in the bottle that helps you not over spill. I do have an issue the the side of the hole at the top because it's a little large. I sometimes accidently get water in there. The top also doesn;t shut super tight so I;d advise against storing it any way but upright. Be sure to tape down the lid during travel. Results: I've not had any problems with this, my skin doesn't get dry and my acne doesn't get worse. My face feels smooth. I don't know if it's making my skin better, but I don't expect it to, I only expect that it leans my face gently and it does that. It's pretty inexpensive so give it a try, I don;t think you'll be disappointed. Unless you dislike strong smells.

A great cleanser, maybe even my HG! Incredibly good for travel or on-the-go.
The novelty of a powder cleanser appealed to me the first time I heard about it, but some of them are REALLY expensive and/or have an undesirably high pH level. When I found out there was an *extremely* affordable option I did quite a bit of research on it, and for the most part I liked what I read. If I'm gonna be 100% honest, I wasn't crazy about some of the ingredients, but I've never had reactions to them before, so (after reading a couple of good reviews on blogs that I consider trustworthy) I decided to give it a try.. I'm SO glad that I did!Where do I even begin.. well, first of all, it's kinda fun to use haha. And it's super convenient to travel with! It was much easier to carry on and use while on a long bus trip earlier this month than it was to decant a liquid/gel cleanser like I did last time (I might be the only person to have ever double cleansed on a Greyhound bus from LA to SF, and let me tell you.. it is not something I recommend). But as far as legitimate skincare positives: I usually have minor reactions to over-perfumed skincare products (some breaking out around the jaw, light itchiness and blotchiness here and there), but this is so lightly fragranced that my skin doesn't even notice it. It feels really nice and creamy/lightly sudsy on your skin.. it's hard to describe, but it's a really pleasant tactile sensation IMO. Most of all, it makes my skin feel SO soft, and it seems like a lot of the minor textural issues that I had have cleared up. Oh! And top of all that, I've had this bottle for almost two months so far, and I've barely made a dent in the amount of product it holds!Anyway, as with all skincare/cosmetics, YMMV, but I gotta say.. this might be my HG cleanser, for real.

Appropriate pH level and an excellent, convenient cleanser
This is a great cleanser. It has a pH of 5.5, which is exactly what you should be looking for. It has a light, pleasant scent that reminds me of clean laundry (or detergent, I suppose!). The scent doesn't linger after I rinse off this product, which I like. The dry powder form is really handy because it's light and easy to travel with.Only a small amount of product is needed to get enough of a nice lather to cover my whole face. I do make sure to lather it for a good thirty seconds to ensure that all the grains are dissolved. After rinsing and drying, my face feels very clean and free of excess sebum, with a very soft, almost velvet-like texture. It usually takes me ten or fifteen minutes to proceed with the rest of my routine after cleansing with this product, and in that time my skin doesn't feel at all dry, tight, or uncomfortable. Because some people might be wary about seeing SLS on the ingredients list, I would stress again that this product has the perfect pH level for your skin, and I have never felt it to be overly drying in the least.I use this product twice a day, and will definitely be repurchasing.

Decent Product
I like the results I get from this product, clean skin without that super tight feeling. It is hard to get the granules broken down enough to become silky and foamy because they are pretty hard and tend to roll around, making it hard to keep them together during that process. I haven’t tried any other products in this category so I can’t compare, but all in all this is a decent cleansing powder. Maybe I’ll put some in my product blender to break it up a bit...it’s worth a try.

Best daily for combination skin
I’ve used this soap for years. It’s my daily go to for combination skin. I’ve read comments of being being upset of how it breaks down- the key is to wet your hands really well first and then add a small amount of beads- if they’re not breaking down just add a bit more water. You don’t need a lot to clean your face. The packing is simple enough and usually is sealed enough not to worry about contamination. It’s not drying for combination skin and as someone who breaks out trying products this one has always calmed my skin. I personally never thought the smell was stronger than the average soap. Since using it’s kept up with my aging skin.
