Haribo Sugar Candy, 17.6 oz, Assorted Flavors, 12 Pieces

These arrived yesterday. I've already devoured 3/4 of the bag and just placed an order for more. They have a good licorice flavor, but not too strong, they're sweet, but not too sweet with a wonderful texture.

I grew up in France eating those and have not been able to find an equivalent here... Now problem solved!

I love Haribo...and I love all of Haribo's licorice candy...but this is definitely my most favorite licorice candy ever!!!!And when I say "licorice" it is implied that it is black licorice....as the Germans only have one kind of licorice and its the black licorice!!! ;)

I have been searching high and low for a licorice from Belgium that I got at Dean and Deluca so I have been buying and trying many different varieties and this is NOT it. Somewhat soft with a tepid licorice flavor from Germany. It's a good brand since I like other Haribo candy products but this was not what I was looking for. Oh well, my search continues.

SO good but prohibitively expensive and only an occasional "treat".

Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Candy arrived soft and fresh!

These were a bit dry and not much flavor compared to other similar licorice I have bought. The price was more than twice some of the others also, even through Amazon. I would not buy these again.
