The media could not be loaded. For some time I’ve been a fan of the tower fans style. But every single one (except for the dyson) eventually start to squeak when turning. Terrible for bedrooms or when watching a movie or trying to relax. So it was back to the traditional pedestal fans.The build quality is top. The base is very heavy which is important to prevent it from tilting and falling. The motor is powerful which produces refreshing breeze even from a distance. Assembling it was easy if you pay attention to the details. The cap that screws the blade in place, pay attention to the arrows to unscrew and screw in place. Otherwise is was easy. The remote works very well. Responsive and reaches from a distance. But the signal may interfere with some of the electronic devices, like IP TV boxes/smart TV boxes.While the performance is very good, also the design, there’s a few things that can be made better. There’s no handle bar or indent to grab when moving. Grabbing it from the base isn’t always ideal. Also there’s no holder or magnet to attach the remote to. This would handy when storing away during the winter. Also Minor complaint, but considering that the area it cover is wide, it will probably not be an issue for most. It doesn’t tilt up and down automatically. That has to be adjusted manually. Small thing, just assumed it would be part of the function being 2020.

This is a great fan great air flow and very powerful. Can be a bit noisy at speed 4 but that’s just air flow noise not the fan itself. Quieter at speed 1 which is ok when sleeping the remote control is great no getting up to adjust the fan or turn it on and off. This was delivered very quick easy to assemble the base is heavy and very sturdy good if you have children as it’s hard to knock over. I lost the remote which i was gutted about. I contacted IPUK and they were very helpful and are sending me another remote which i am very great full for. I would highly recommend this fan it’s well worth the money

Very pleased with my purchase! The fan is easily assembled, the instructions are among the BEST I have come across! The fact that they take the trouble to tell you where all the ‘hidden’ little bits & bobs are & make clear where all the pre assembled parts are is hugely helpful.Once built, the work of a few minutes, the fan is very, very efficient. The remote control is useful and the choice of operating modes & settings isn’t something I’ve come across with a pedestal fan before. It’s also quiet enough to run at night without disturbing your sleep. All in all a very good product which I would happily recommend!

Really pleased with this. It is very quiet, works well and has great features - such as the random mode.The instructions weren’t brilliant. One part (upper tube) was inside another (lower tube) so at first I thought it was missing. There is a white plastic clip you need to remove and discard, and it doesn’t mention this at all. But, apart from this the fan itself is excellent.Glad we paid a bit extra to get a quality item.

*Updated to review, 1 year on and its still going strong with heavy use, looking to order another as my son has hijacked this one*.I generally spend a lot of time going through reviews debating on the purchase, the smallest thing puts me off, because I do not have the greatest of luck with items.This one was worth the money and shows that little extra makes all the difference.Very simple to put together and powerful enough for me.Came in a large amazon box as expected, opened to find another box inside, then had to slide out a third box, so well packages on delivery.Remote seems to work from anywhere in my standard size rooms.A bit of sound during the night on low power, but i find it quite relaxing.keeps the room cooled quite nicely.The only think i cannot comment on is, how it will stand the test of time but so far so good and I have it on quite a lot.

Putting this together was a little more difficult than expected - the instructions talk about putting the top stand tube into the bottom stand tube so for a couple of days I thought there was a tube missing - however it is actually inside the bottom stand tube - you have to unscrew part 15 the height adjuster and then pull it up. I had to get in touch with the manufacturers to find that out but they were very helpful. There are a couple of quirky things designed to help you not lose parts which are great - for example the bottom stand tube has a securing screw that’s almost like an Allen key in design so you don’t need any tools to unscrew it.Once you get through the assembly then for the price this fan is definitely worth it. I’m a very light sleeper and usually can’t go to sleep with a fan but this is surprisingly quiet and the sleep optimisation mode is actually really good - it mimics the early stages of sleep by the speed fluctuating up and down - weird but surprisingly good! I also like the natural mode which again has speed fluctuations. You don’t really notice the noise of this even in the regular mode at low speeds. The higher speedsAre slightly louder but still much quieter than my previous fan. This is now the second climatik product I have - they are good value products. In fact I’m so pleased with it I’ve bought one for my sister.

It seemed to be good fan but I guess I have to return it now as the remote was missing. Also there was no manual as well.

I like this fan because of its versatility and ease of use. I have a good sized living room and this fan does a good job of keeping it cool. I find that it is not too noisy.
