Nice piece of furniture
This is a great product! It wasn't too hard to assemble directions were precise. I installed and loaded it up today. I have the majority of my DVD and BluRay movies in it. Loaded to capacity it is very heavy so not sure how the plastic "lazy Susan" would have worked. Like many others I upgraded to the metal one for +- $13 dollars and I am glad I did. I know the seller states the plastic one they provide will suffice but I doubt it. The product would be even better if it came with a more sturdy Susan. Although this is a huge space saver, it does have a pretty big footprint but looks much better than taking up an entire wall. The construction seems to be good but it is particle board, so keep that in mind. I didn't do a count but it holds a lot of blu ray and dvds. No problems with shipping although the FedEx guy just threw it on the floor in front of my door. Luckily no parts were damaged. If you have a good amount of movies you need to store, buy it, you will not be disappointed. If you decide to upgrade to the 1000# lazy susan you will need a drill, and possibly a hammer to tap some of the pieces in for shelving. I didn't use one and it still worked out. You have to kinda twist them in. Most will not go in by just pushing with your fingers and that can start to hurt after a while.During the install I did connect the lazy susan to the base and the bottom shelf but if you have a lot of movies I doubt it would go anywhere. Take the extra precaution....The entire install less breaks and watching tv takes about an hour with the longest parting being installing the replacement lazy susan (if you have never done something like that before).

What a great rack! I'm Talking About Media Storage
I've converted my office closet adding shelves for my books, I purchased rack storage for my vinyl collection of over 500 60s and 70s rock n roll. I have numerous display cases for my 80s horror and science fiction collectibles and statues. And Now I have a spinning media storage rack for my movies and CDs.It came with no damage to any of the shelves and all the hardware was present. I read through the instructions which are very easy to understand. I had it assembled in about an hour. I like how each step makes the rack more solid and secure. I used the plastic 'lazy susan' it came with and has no issues with the weight distribution and it spins easily and silently.I went with black and it looks great. Now I have to go through and get everything in alphabetical order. Conclusion: easy to assemble by one person, goes together easily, feels solid and well-constructed, spins with no issues with included 'lazy-susan' and I still have room to add movies for the next several years. Rating: 5/5

Shelves Are Weak
I bought two previous towers from different sources, so this was my third. It went together fairly easly. It turns real nice. The unit is relly big, holding alot of DVD. For the most part, I like the unit. The only problem I see, is with the shelves. The shelves in this unit are thinner than my other two units. I put into this unit alot of my TV seriies DVDs. They are much more compressed and heavier than a regular DVD movie. The shelves, as a result, are starting to Bow and I have only had this about three weeks. For regular DVD movies, I do not beleive they would have bowed, but TV DVD's are heavier. The manufacturer should have foreseen this problem and should have made the shelves thicker.I hope this review helps you.

Very satisfied with this media tower.
The media could not be loaded. Been using for three months now. And did buy the metal 'lazy susan' but elected to use the plastic one anyways. I've loaded it up with about 250 steelbooks and 30 digibooks as well as a bunch of boxsets, big and small. And I have no problems with the plastic '....susan'.I'm very satisfied with this product......and fine with the plastic '....susan'. I was surprised. It works just fine. Very stable. I may get another one. Installation was very easy as well.

Love it
I absolutely love this stand. We had a total of 1,467 dvd’s cd’s and believe it or not a small amount of tapes. It was easy to put together. However the instructions could have been a little more clearer for putting the bottom two pieces together with the swivel circle thing in the middle with the bolt. However we figured it out. It has more than enough room and space for everything and we still have room left at the bottom of each side. It also spins around which is awesome. We all love it.

Easy assembly, quite solid, and LARGE
Relatively easy 1-person assembly. I substituted the 12-inch 1000-lb metal turntable that others recommended (ASIN B0045DV04I), and I like the solid feel and piece of mind - worth the nominal price and a bit of extra assembly in my mind. For extra security, rather than relying on gravity alone, I fastened the turntable to both pieces. Here’s how: Center the turntable on the top (finished side) of the base board, and mark on the base board where the two LARGE holes in the turntable are. Set the turntable aside and drill 3/4” or so holes all the way through the base piece at those two locations. (These holes will be a “window” through which you’ll later attach the turntable to the bottom shelf board.) Now, with a few wood screws attach the turntable to the top of the base board, keeping the large turntable holes centered over the holes you drilled in the base board. Now, take the shelf bottom piece and place it upside down (finished side down) on a work area. On top of that place the base piece, upside down with the turntable attached, on top of the bottom piece (with the turntable sandwiched between). Square up the bottom and base pieces. Now watch through the “window holes” you drilled and gently rotate the base piece slowly until you see the turntable screw-holes with which you’ll attach the turntable to the bottom shelf board. At this point you can drill a pilot hole and screw the turntable to the base piece. Repeat this for three more screws.

nice product but doesn't work under load
sucks, I have about 75% full, and it doesn't swivel, have to put the muscle in it to turn the base in which the swivel parts track with the base ... don't buy if you plan on filling it to capacity. I have the lower half max'd out with CDs and the top with blurays ... it doesn't swivel at all.
