Good for the price
I put this bike together in about an hour (it's easier if someone can help you). The instructions were pretty clear and easy to understand. The monitor arrived with scratches and slightly cracked casing on the back, and the packaging was damaged, but it still works OK and because it is not an integral part of the bike and bolts on separately I'm sure if problems appeared the seller would be happy to swap over the monitor for another one.The bike is quite heavy and is not easy to fold/unfold (a scissor action) as a knob has to be turned to loosen it and then removed. Getting it back in again is like trying to undo a childproof lid on a bottle of tablets in that you have to push and turn at the same time. That, plus the weight meant I decided against folding it away as I'd originally intended, and I now have it set up in one place permanently. The height of the seat can be adjusted by loosening a similar knob and then removing it, sliding the bar up or down and then replacing the knob.Surprisingly, there isn't a photo of the bike on the cover of the handbook, or any mention of the features as they are advertised on the Amazon product page. It would be useful if these were included in the handbook, together with some basic recumbent bike exercises (or even a link to a video) as well as the general warming up and cooling down exercises that are already included at the back of the handbook.Because the 'resistance' knob is positioned just under the resistance bands, and says 'Tension' on it (not as the photo on the product page), it could lead you to think that the 'Tension' relates to the resistance bands, but it does not, it relates to the tension of the front wheel when pedalling.Once put together, the bike was sturdy, not wobbly, and very quiet in use, and the seat and back rest were quite comfortable for the half hour exercise session I did on it (I found a couple of free 'recumbent bike with resistance bands workout' videos online). The back of the seat height is adjustable (2 positions, higher or lower) but it does involve 4 screws and an allen key to move the height so it's not really something to be adjusted each time someone else uses it.I could watch a workout video by propping my laptop on the handy shelf on the bottom of the monitor. However, it did cover up the monitor and some of the handlebars and sensors. A tablet would be better if you have one.All in all though I'm quite pleased with it and am looking forward to using it regularly.

Great bike
This is a great exercise bike for the money. If you're expecting a gym spec bike, then it's not for you. It was fairly easy to assemble, it's reasonably sturdy - my husband and I are both overweight and have no issues with it at all. Some reviews mentioned a knocking noise - hasn't happened to with our bike, it's perfect. The backrest is ok for my husband but not so much for me, as I'm considerably shorter than he is. Because of our height difference, my husband needs to raise the saddle when he uses it, and lower it again for me to use. No hardship, that's easy to do. Neither of us are madly into exercise so the resistance levels work well for us, as do the resistance bands for my husband. I love the rest on the front for my i-Pad which means I can exercise and listen to music. If I do that, I can't then see how fast I'm pedalling or how long it's taken me, so I set a timer on the i-Pad. The only negative for me is that I bought this particular bike because the description said it folds away - and that is true, it does, but it's very heavy to fold so I haven't bothered. All in all, very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it for those of you who are exercise beginners or at intermediate level - but not for the gym bunnies!

Does the job
The bike was fairly easy to assemble, all tools are provided in the box. The packaging was done with precision, parts are well protected. The assembling instructions are easy to follow and accurate. The panel feels a bit cheap plastic, but for the price is not unexpected, it delivers anyway. The seat is not uncomfortable, quite wide, good for bigger users as well. I am small 160cm I can use it on the middle height, it is usable for short persons as well. The resistance scale is not a challenge with normal fitness, highest setting feels like uphill on a good quality road. It is suitable for rehabilitation and starting to get fit, as it is not that difficult to use you will not feel it as a burden to use it on a regular basis. For an obese person the low stance and sitting back may be a good start too. Overall it is good price for value, if you are fitter or you do spinning, it is not for you, it will be too easy.

Lower back ache sufferers will LOVE the comfort and stability by the back rest.
Due to the applaudable design of the back rest; with its so comfortable width and depth, this item got 5 stars but really want to give it 4. The YYFIT exercise bike arrived today and was easy to assemble. Once set up, widened the bike's legs to max and found this width easy to get onto (because the seat is lower to ground). At this width, could sit comfortably leaning right back onto back rest - (its width and length IDEAL for comfort and stability) while holding side bars. (In assembling, i put the bolts into the 2nd from the top row for added height).Have to shift to the front of seat to be positioned comfortably to hold front handle bars, at this width.Tried making the bike legs width narrower. This wasn't so easy to do - awkward- until i tried pulling the front frame toward seat whilst holding the pin out. In this much narrower position, the bike is a little taller; getting on board was not as easy as i am 5'4'', and the V gap, to get your leg through, is narrow. A little concerned about bike toppling over, as the front feet are not as long as the rear feet, and being on a springy carpet this adds to the fear. Found that tightening bolts needs to be done VERY well, especially for the side bars as when you rest your weight on them they wiggle. Strength is therefore required. The monitor proved tempremental when set on 'time'. Would fluctuate from one mode to the next. It being so basic, didn't read its' instructions - so that may be why. Have another exercise bike elsewhere by Ativafit, with back rest and side bars, and its' monitor is reliable (given a review about this one).
