I also had high hopes for this product. It started off ok (after a lengthy install process). It worked ok for around five weeks or so, and then stopped working.What I will say is that while it was working it done what it was supposed to.Apple CarPlay is a great feature in new cars that are equipped with touchscreen facilities. So, this work around product does enable CarPlay but it’s a bit fiddly to use without the ability to interact via a touchscreen.In my Mercedes V Class you have to use the scroll wheel to navigate through options on the screen. This is very distracting whilst driving.The product is essentially a switch for your cars display so while using it I was unable to see default info such as the climate control settings and radio stations etc. basically anything the car needs to display is hidden.It is great for using navigation and music apps that are on your phone but having to switch back and forth between CarPlay and the original menus is a pain and is also very distracting while you are driving.I found the mirror link feature worked intermittently, and would often have to restart the system (and my phone) to get it working. I used CarPlay with the cable connected, but when using it wirelessly found that the sound quality was not good. The system uses the cars Bluetooth equipment so phone calls and mic quality were fine.When using the system the unit would get very hot and I was often worried that it would cause issues to the cars wiring and could even cause a fire. I think overheating is what caused the unit to fail as there was a strong burning smell coming from it when it died. Sadly I cannot recommend this product and even would advise against installing it in your vehicle.

Hey guys,So i decided to buy this product for my C-Class WO5, and i have to be honest, after a good 2 h of installing everything( was my very first time to try something like this ) and a lot of YouTube help, i made it, i manage to see the results and so far so good but with a catch.. First the radio channels from my car are gone, for some reason and i am in the process to try to find what happen, cause when i select the radio, the message is clear :'' Not Available ''- while was working before perfectly, and second more important, the device has a function of updating but.. Require a password that i don't have/ find anywhere so i'll have to contact the technical support for it. in rest, i can say honestly, it does the job, all the functions work so far really good, is a bit messy in the beginning but u get use to it. Overall, is a good product but in all fairness, they can improve it a little bit more.

Had high hopes for this, had seen other brands that done similar things went with this one after watching their easy installation video on YouTube. Once arrived, wired it all up and booted it all up but whilst trying to connect to use android auto it just would not comply. It Would recognise the phone and would say activating but would not actually start android auto, then locked to a screen saying it would start android auto once it was safe and then not long after this it crashed the whole car system, the screen scrambled with green, red and blue lines across it, it set off every single warning light on the dash, the system would no longer recognise the key. Removed and completely reinstalled but Eventually had to removed the whole thing and sent back for a refund.Very disappointed. Also to note it looked like it had already been returned once as the system was already paired with an iPhone previously, I have an android.

Could not get reply to questions and fix problems so would not recommend using this product

Not ideal... do not expect something high quality...The volume of calls so bad and when your on phone or car speaker you cannot hear properly.Also when you are playing music and you want to check your social media the sound go so bad and you wont hear it normally.
