This one had the best reviews and was the perfect dimensions for my space ...
I spent months doing research and looking for a cheap and more compact elliptical for my spare bedroom. This one had the best reviews and was the perfect dimensions for my space so I ordered it. It arrived quickly and took less than an hour for my boyfriend and I to assemble it. Initially it was very noisy and shaky, however, after some more tightening I couldn't be happier. I am 5'11 and very overweight and this works perfectly for me. It is not as smooth as an elliptical you would use at the gym but it works great as an inexpensive machine.

Great addition for a small home gym!
I belong to a gym, which I visit five to six days a week to stay fit and healthy. Gyms in my state closed a few weeks ago due to Covid-19 and stay at home orders, and I can’t run on sidewalks or trails due to my knees, so I ordered this to supplement my small home gym. It came within four days, and I put it together that evening in two hours with my son helping a bit. I’ve used it daily for three to four miles the last five days, so here are my thoughts.Pros:1. It has a small profile and is lightweight. Great if you don’t have a great deal of space.2. Inexpensive piece of equipment that will offer a good alternative if I can’t get to the gym.3. Easy to use on my bad knees.4. I could put it together with a bit of help.5. Packed well, received an intact box.6. Not noisy to use.Cons:1. Instructions were not super clear. Some aspects were very confusing and took longer than necessary because parts were not all labeled correctly.2. The ride is not as smooth as a more expensive gym machine, but not so bad as to be unusable.3. Not a lot of tension options.4. The mileage tracker seems inaccurate. I’ve just used my fitness watch.5. Be careful to not hit your knees on the handles. I’m tall, and have hit my knees in the crossbar a few times. Will be adding some padding.Overall, a good alternative for me if I can’t get to the gym. I’m thrilled to still be able to work out, and keep my knees healthy, while being “corn teened”.

...
I bought this because the gyms kept closing due to Covid-19. I paid Amazon to have someone come out and assemble this. It took them both what seemed to be 3 hours or so to put it together, the next day I got on it and it’s making some very disturbing clicking noise. Honestly, I thought I broke it. I adjusted the tension and it’s still there. Read another review and someone else said the same thing. Also it’s not very sturdy, the frame is small and it wobbles. I bought some gym floor mats to help with stability. That helped.

Looks used, frame not assembled correctly, issues with the right crank in less than an hour of use.
On receipt of the item the shipping container was in poor condition. So poor, that the box ripped apart when I tried to open it, with the Styrofoam seriously damaged. May of the metal parts had what looked like wear and tear in spots that really couldn't be explained by the poor shape of the shipper, making me wonder if they had been used. This idea was further confounded by the fact it it looked like someone had scraped part of some of L and R stickers off. The plastic case for the frame is not sealed correctly on the back, and there is a gap where one side overlaps the other.I decided to assemble it anyways, as the shipper was a mess and I had the very strong feeling that as a result of that returning it would be a pain, so I went ahead and did so. Assembly wasn't that bad, other than taking it apart when 3/4 and putting it back together, because it shipped with an extra washer, so I wanted to make sure when I had 1 left and no place to use it that I had not forgotten to put one someplace. Still decent assembly, no real complaints.I've used it for less than an hour at this point, and it started squeaking a little, I initially thought from the main frame. I used it for a few minutes more to see if the squeak would work itself out, but it got worse. I got off the unit and decided to see if I could isolate where the squeak was coming from. It had sounded like it was from the right side behind me, so I grabbed the part where the crank connects to the right pedal support, and the area was hot to the touch.I'll be calling customer support about this issue. If they are willing to fix it, I will up my rating to 4 stars. Other then the issues with the blemishes, I had liked the unit before then, it had a good stride, is easy to move, and decent features for the price.**Update**Oiled the squeak, and it's gone but the area where the right crank meets the right support still gets very hot to the touch. I have to assume that there is an issue that has resulted from the frame being incorrectly assembled that is cause this pedal to be supporting significantly more resistance than the other pedal. Was unable to reach customer support, and just moved with the obvious fix on my own. Have moved my rating to 3 stars.

$160.92 worth of insufferable noise
The media could not be loaded. It was easy enough to assemble and it is sturdy, but not two hours later it was making grinding noises coming from the left side primarily (see video). It's so loud I can hear it with my noise cancelling headphones blasting heavy metal. I tried using a mat as well as even taking it apart and putting it back together to no avail. Otherwise it works well enough. You get what you pay for.
