Easy and transparent setup, good range
Purchased to support multiple AirThings Wave sensors. The setup is a transparent process that takes roughly 3 minutes of mostly automated steps carried out by the app, with minimal interaction.Keep in mind one important thing that I like very much but it may not be convenient in all homes: the hub must be connected to your router via Ethernet cable and there is no WiFi option so, a cable is needed at all times to have the hub connect to the AirThings server and update sensors data.Keep that in mind when thinking at potential spot to place the Hub.An 1.8m Ethernet cable is included in the box

Good Quality Hub
Using WiFi is far more smoother to use as apposed to Bluetooth. All sensors upload far quicker also can access sensors through phones data plan. Would highly recommend.

First impressions
We have had to wait a long time and through numerous promises from Airthings for this to arrive, but having just received it my first impressions are that it is an excellent device.Without the hub all of the sensors used Bluetooth and connection could a best be described as flaky - you had to be close to devices (ie. in the same room), and often try to sync multiple times. And of course you had to start up the app and manually sync to get info uploaded to the web dashboard/app.The hub doesn't use Bluetooth, instead it users different radio waves which have much better range. It took me 5 minutes to setup and now has excellent signal strength to all of my Airthings devices and is regularly uploading data to the Airthings Dashboard - which of course can be checked whether or not you are close to them or not.In summary, it looks like it was worth the wait for Airthings to perfect this.Obviously at this point I don't know whether or not it will have a detrimental affect on the battery life of the devices.Edit: An update to the review and it loses a star! - It appears that if the hub goes offline for any reason (ie. your internet is down) all data from all devices is lost for that period (Presumably because the hub clears the data from the devices, but doesn't buffer it for sending to the servers itself?). So I now have gaps in my data which I didn't get with the Bluetooth only solution.

Aucun problème
Installation très simple comme tous les produits de la marque. C'est un peu compliqué pour "oublier" l'appareil un fois associé à un compte si on veut le transférer mais au final ça marche bien.

Must by for airthings devices!
Makes connecting to the devices very easy. You must have this especially if you have more than one device.

Superb product and top tier technical support
I rarely write product reviews but was so impressed with the Airthings detectors and cloud-based hub that I wanted to share my experience. Initially, I purchased a few mold and radon detectors and they worked great. Very easy to set up and quite accurate. Soon, I had a decent number of mold and radon detectors and so I decided to get a hub to connect these devices and to allow continuous monitoring and access remote access. Overall, these devices have worked flawlessly and have really added to our ability to proactively monitor for environmental problems in our home. Also, customer service has been outstanding. Very responsive to questions and very proactive with follow-up. 5-stars all around.
