Simple and effective piece of kit
Had used a woobie for years. This is a little warmer, water repellent and multi use. May benefit from a compression sack if you travel minimalist. Very happy with it.

Very warm and comfortable
Great liner, Much better than normal poncho liner blankets. It is very comfortable and does pack down into it's own pocket so I don't use the stuff sack. I think it is slightly darker material than the photos which is good for me.I do wish it came in black.

Super versatile
I got this mainly to use as an under blanket for a hammock when bike packing, due to its packable size it comes in smaller than many under blankets that don't cost £££, the clips that run down each side actually line up perfectly with the attachment points on my dd hammock, Brought 6 mini fishing carabiners to attached to these and at each end and it works a treat. had a VERY windy night hammock camping in Sweden and felt none of the chill come through.but it has so many applications I've used as a warm poncho when the temps dropped in the evenings and we're outside, as a sleeping bag/blanket as it is, again, smaller than taking a regular bag.I love it, light, warm, windproof, super versatile, lives in the bottom of my bag if I go away from home overnight, I've also seen it used opened ended and zipped round the whole hammock as a sort of cocoon but have not tried this set up yet, fantastic bit of kit, well used already in the few months I've owned it

Very Good
I'm 6ft and 22 stones and surprised it was comfortable regarding fitting.I wouldn't pay £150 plus for one though. I paid £99. That is the fair price I believe. It is light even when wet and dries quite quick. I chose orange as I'm a cyclist for safety.

Well designed with quality materials and manufacture
I use this inside as I don't have central heating, but it is also good for camping as an extra sleeping bag, blanket or evening wear.

Excellent bit of kit!
Very impressed with this poncho liner. The stitching is excellent with not a single loose thread. The zippers work perfectly everytime. And it can be turned into a lightweight summer sleeping bag or a liner for a winter bag also. It's water resistant so can take light rain. All in all a very good product at a fair price considering it's versatility.

Not that warm
Performs worse than a lidl summer sleeping bag. Clips keep falling off and it's got loose stitching. It's alright but I should have got something else

Excellent quality and versatility.
Works well for all advertised functions, with quality construction. Used as a poncho, and camped overnight using it as an underquilt on a hammock, in cool/mild temperatures. Very comfortable.

Very warm and versitile.
I love this poncho for my commute to work. it keeps me and my backpack safe from the elements. I use it as a blanket and have used it as a sleeping bag when I slept over a friends house. Its makes accessing your tools holstered to your hips very accessible as well. I highly recommend this product. I also go the USGI rain poncho for added protection. The will keep you warm and dry during the winter months. Very lightweight that you can put it away when you no longer need it.

Not worth it
It’s overpriced it won’t last. I have put 3 of there products to the test with none making it long at all I wasted my money but you don’t have to. Remember if someone is recommending something it’s something they believe in or have something to gain I have neither I already lost hundreds of dollars on 3 garbage products.

A tadd expensive for what you get.IMHO
Regarding the helikon Tex swag man Roll Military Poncho - Multi-purpose Poncho...It is Well made, lightweight, good for layering,(For example, and what it was designed for). Poncho liner Sleeping bag liner,Would be suffice for warm summer sleeping bag. The hood is smaller than other similar products. Not as warm as the one wind top quilt with foot box,or the Snug pak jungle Bag IMHO. It has a place in my kit though.I do like what this company has attempted to do with this product, room for improvement in regards to warmth and hood size...All n All,,, pretty darn not too bad:)
