This thing doesn't suck - and that's BAD! - Update
I am updating this review and increased my star rating to 4 because the company has reached out to me and is trying to help me solve the problem, that kind of customer service means a lot. I will update more once I finally resolve it.Old review:I bought this for our new kitchen remodel and installed it way after the return date, seems to be a big mistake on my part because this thing doesn't work. The air flow seems to be pushing air out, blowing smoke into the room. I have checked the connections and made sure the duct work is all sound and of the correct size - it is. I can see that the vent outside of the house opens when unit is turned on, so why does it seem to be blowing air back into the kitchen? Also, there seems to be little noticeable differences between any of the speed settings, suction and sound wise. One of the dumbest things about this unit is that there is a control panel on each side of the thing so that when you are sitting at the island you are looking at the controls just like when you are cooking....WHY? The finish of the stainless is impossible to keep polished and no amount of cleaning or wiping seems to get it looking good.I would love to hear back from this company with some solutions or if they think I need a replacement - I will gladly change this review if these issues can be resolved.

I’m very impressed with Ekon customer service
I had an issue with an Ekon range hood upon notification to the company I was extremely impressed with their quick response in regards to resolving the issue and it was resolved to my satisfaction I would recommend Ekon products without hesitation the Range hood is made with quality material runs efficiently and its operation is quiet and powerful

The only problem was it has a dent in corner. They did not have another one in stock so Amazon gave me a credit, but it is only for Amazon products.
