We bought this for when we bring our kids to the beach so they can play safely from the sun. It goes up quickly and easily. It is a perfect size for two kids to play underneath. Keeps the wind away from the kids. Not too heavy to haul to and from the beach.We love this umbrella!

I have not used this product at the beach yet, nor have I had to use the connection screw part so I cannot attest to the full sturdiness of this product. But I have use the hooks to dig into the grass at my son’s soccer game and works wonders. Ease of setup was great! Size is amazing! It was worth the buy and wasn’t expensive. I have used several times and I always get asked where I got it from. I can set it up all on my own and put away with no help. I love it.

This is a good product for keeping rain and low winds off you during outdoor activities. Be aware that the base support that goes into the ground is plastic. Not sure how long that will last. Hard ground may break the tip.

I was looking for something that would keep me and my wagon full of gear out of the sun while waiting at some competition that I attend and saw something similar attached to a wagon. I purchased the sport brella to do the same thing. Now after a couple of competitions it works better than I thought. It provides enough shade from the sun for my self, my gear and a few friends. Definitely would buy again. One recommendation for the manufacturer would be to make the auger tip removable. I had to drill out the rivet to adapt it to my application and had to drill another hole a little higher to pin it in the holder

The skirt on this is such a great addition. It's the perfect size to go with my outdoor rug. The pockets are great, and once staked out, the umbrella is perfectly stable in weather I want to be out in. Highly recommend!

Broke the first day we used it the black umbrella pieces snapped in half without warning and the umbrella flew backwards! Would have returned but returned window closed . Bought two of these now I’m out $100 .

It's very important to tie it down properly especially in windy areas. This is Lake Travis in TX, its very windy close to the waters edge. I have 2 stakes in the ground to either side of me and one stake behind the umbrella, using 2 cords with each stake holds it in place with strong Breezes. The 8ft canopy makes a large shadow area big enough for several people. The best part is how quick and easy it is to set up. I haven't needed the lower shaft at all. Put the stakes in the ground first with the cords. Then open the umbrella and attach the cords with the adjustable hooks (bought separately). Always take care opening it and putting it away and it will last a long time.
